That bottom bridge was definitely a major weak spot for the Yamato. A large target to hit. A good replacement could have been another turret or two. And if they want a bridge, why not go with what happened with the Kongo class of battleship?
The third bridge in the remake is the shield generator for the ship so it kinda has an important function to neglect ... also so far it has not been destroyed or ripped off even once .. i guess its a joke at the original series where it gets destroyed or ripped off several times over (only to show up intact next episode)
@@WolfeSaber but the guns are the same per ship specifications (4 Triple 360mm High Pressure Beam Cannon Turrets) .. besides Yamato allready has VLS tubes in the belly.. shown to be handy in the ambush at the pulsar star
@@kuma943On Earth, yes, the Yamato was good, though it lacked AA power. But in space, any side that is designed for "defense" is a weak spot. Having minimal firepower at any part and trying to replace the guns with armor is begging to be shot at. Not to mention, that armor will be turned into a weapon against the ship.

本当にこの時のヤマト、ボロボロだよね…レーダーすらも破壊されて何も出来ないし主砲や副砲も破壊されてるから…
それでもオリジナルよりかは損傷がマシという
オリジナルは艦底部が根こそぎ吹っ飛んでるからな
他の艦だったら一発で撃沈するような直撃弾を受けてもヤマトだけは大丈夫！

@@sparrowlt You can still increase firepower on the ventral side. Besides, the turret bridge the Kongo has is larger than the other turrets.

当たらない原因はガミラス側の練度不足か？それともヤマトのそれは出来ないだろ…レベルの回避行動なのか？
艦隊の時は友軍に当たらない射角で打つからだろうけど、単体の時はまじわからんw
@@フラクタル-e5b 恐らく金剛型とかを対応してた故ヤマト及び新たな地球軍艦艇の速度に慣れてない可能性が（もしくは昔のイギリスか何らかのオマージュ（訓練時期が少ない代わりに早めに戦力補充できるやーつ）
あとヤマトの船体形状が功を奏してると思われる

いやこれ波動防壁展開してても貫徹されるし、そもそもがこれ遊星爆弾を作る為打つやつやからそもそもの火力高いし、砲台から見てもヤマトを超えるのをどうやったら抑え込む事出来るんだよ。波動防壁無しでも耐えきったとはいえゼルグートの480mmカノンで破損してる時点でそれ以上。だからガバガバでは無いぞ。
