Hmmm, I don't find the students annoying at all. It's a good thing their asking questions. In that way, they can understand the topic better. Our teachers would always ask us if we have questions but few have the guts to do so. In the end, we don't understand the topic. I really appreciate the connection with the teacher and his students. Good job!
He honestly explained it...Pretty damn well, Easy to understand, but his class is full of dipshits. They are even worse than my algebra 2 class at school. At least in my class they try to understand the material.
I love your teaching style and I love the fact that you answered each and every question. Some people are slow in class and sometimes don't understand what the Professor or Teacher is saying. Some teachers neglect those kind of students. But, you don't and that's a great quality!!!
you're such a great teacher, i would love to have lessons with you, and you also seem like the best person ever. But these kids oh my oh my they are intolerable
I love your videos and think you are an excellent teacher. I have one suggestion. Maybe you could start your discussion about odd functions by pointing out that a linear function is the most basic odd function. All of the things that you already know about linear functions, like whether it is positive slope or negative slope, could be leveraged to understand the higher degree odd functions. Just a thought. Well done or should I say, "Yay Math!"
I bow to you! You are GOD. haha Thank you so much for these videos, I take online classes and they're lessons are nothing compared to your teaching. I wish I went for your classes. Keep up the awesomeness! :D
I wish you were my algebraII teacher :/ I always have to go through your lessons after school to get what my teacher was trying to teach. You're awesome
hey yay buddy ; thanks it helped me alot. . do me a favour upload a video on GREATEST INTEGER FUNCTIONS : I'M REALLY CONFUSED IF f (x)=greatest integer
I know I came to this video for some clarity, but the questions and answers your students decided to blurt out were painful to hear. I’d love to have a teacher like you, good going.
Teacher: as x gets bigger and bigger what happens to y... Students: y...gets smaller (OMG!), then others y...gets bigger teacher confirms y... get bigger
I wish he was my teacher for this course. I learned some of this stuff today and I don't know if it was my teacher teaching bad but I'm trying to do my HW for tomorrow right now and she didn't explain it at all so I have no idea what I am doing and am pretty much screwed... Trying to learn it by watching these videos but ugh she is just an awful teacher
You just said my mind.. At school I was enjoying the other real functions and their graphs, but when we reached polynomial function, I became totally lost..
Well, he's probably dealt with kids like that for years that he's used to it, still I give him props for being so patient though. If that were me i'd be super pissed after a while.
Your students are annoying, you should do these videos solo that way your internet audience (which is far larger than your classroom students) can actually focus on what's important. It's hard to acquire your knowledge when all your students are talking out of turn and don't know how to raise their hands. You're good but I'm discouraged about watching yours vids specifically cause of your students.
I just wanted to say thank you so much I wish at my school teachers could teach just as clear as you do. I always go to your videos for clarification with my math even if I'm in trig this is always a help keep it up Seattle junior student !😃
all the people who are commenting, "omg ur so patient with all those annoying students who are 'uneducated'", are the reason why so many kids today don't raise their hands and don't ask questions. because people like you call them out for not knowing anything or not being as talented as you. yea, he may have to repeat things multiple times, but that's how some learn. and might i add that some students find it harder to learn than others and repeating it to them really does help them. all you guys are toxic and don't understand that these kids are in SCHOOL to LEARN things they DON'T know.. geez.. you think they go to school to learn things they already know?
Everyone is complaining about the students; I'm pleased to see they're asking questions -- regardless of how "dumb" these questions may appear to others.
Great teacher! I wish my teacher was like this in high school then maybe I would have listened more and talked less...your students are great! I don't get why most people are saying that they're annoying. They are after all learning this subject for the first time and are curious so they're asking questions & are shouting answers. Clearly they are engaged and eager to learn. Absolutely nothing wrong with that! In college people stay quiet and don't ask questions when their confused...guess what happens...you don't learn! Anyways thanks dude your great! Keep it up
Patience level: over 9000!!!
if that's my prof, he will say HOLD THE F* ON B***C, I'M NOT DONE YET... IF YOU WANT TO INTERFERE THEN TEACH HERE RIGHT IN FRONT!

Those kids should really appreciate your teaching more. :\ I wish my math teacher was like that.

But, you don't and that's a great quality!!!
good teaching technique, but students are annoying!!!!

@lizsg1959 never could be a teacher.
lesson was great, kids made me want to chug bleach
Don't drink the bleach yourself, force feed it down their throats. that'll teach 'em a lesson.
you're such a great teacher, i would love to have lessons with you, and you also seem like the best person ever. But these kids oh my oh my they are intolerable
The typical teen these days, dumb and clueless.
Thank you so much! A 10x better explanation than my professor..
I appreciate that he can actually teach !.... rather than my teacher that can't explain. Thank You for explaining.

I bow to you! You are GOD. haha Thank you so much for these videos, I take online classes and they're lessons are nothing compared to your teaching. I wish I went for your classes. Keep up the awesomeness! :D

Really... those students are... Dont wanna say the wrong word... Hmmmm.... uneducated :/
It's a good thing they're in a school then...:)
*****
That's a good one lol :P
I agree, I wouldn't handle that class!
Wouldn't be needing that course if they were experts now would they;)

Omg my teacher literally spent 3days on just that and I fully understand it now so much simpler now thank you
I just wanted to say thank you so much I wish at my school teachers could teach just as clear as you do. I always go to your videos for clarification with my math even if I'm in trig this is always a help keep it up Seattle junior student !😃
Me to
"it's not about me, it's about the edu-ma-cation"
I hope none of you commenters are going to be teachers. This is how kids participate.

This guy is an amazing Teacher. Quick wit, funny and patience. A rare quality to have all three.
Everyone is complaining about the students; I'm pleased to see they're asking questions -- regardless of how "dumb" these questions may appear to others.
You're amazing! Easy to understand and very detailed. Thanks!!!
