Love how your nature's peace is turning out! Oh who am I kidding, all your stitching is beautiful!! Oh that cabin in the woods is gorgeous!! It looks like it will be fun!
Thank you for the kind words about my channel Beth. When I am stressed or in danger of losing my stitching bug, I do an online stitch with my friends and that makes things feel so much better. Happy Thanksgiving Beth. 🦉🧵🪡
Great video. When I lose my stitchy bug, I find it just as satisfying going thru patterns to see what's kitted, what's needed. Next day I usually want to hold that needle again. Actually it was encouraging to see what you've worked on, and it wasn't mass quantities of sewing. I watch some videos with so many patterns and hours of stitching done, and it makes me feel like I'm not accomplishing much. I reconcile myself by saying that they probably have no clean clothes and all of their dishes are dirty. Nor have children or pets calling them away from the needle. I'm retired but have been known to not stitch because there's a cat sitting on my arm, and I can't bear to move him because he looks so sweet. Lol I'm sure you understand. I always enjoy hearing your encouraging words. I've learned about a lot of new things from you. I just completed a piece on 20ct Aida which I hadn't known existed. Also, you have shown beautiful pieces of fabric from BeStitchMe. I ordered four pieces from there because all so lovely, I couldn't make up my mind. I was thrilled when my order arrived; so stunning. Second thought, maybe slow down on the encouraging words. I can't afford them! Lol just kidding.
I love all of the projects you showed today - 100 WIPs? Wow - good for you! I'm glad to have "met" you the other week on Sarah's zoom, a fellow NC stitcher!
Happy Thanksgiving. When my stitchy bug leaves me I always tend to start a brand new chart and that brings it right back to me. Cabin in the Woods is so beautiful. I will have to check that one out. Thanks for showing us. Happy Stitching.
When I lose my stitching mojo, I usually switch to a different project (WIP) because I find it’s because I’m becoming tired of the one I’m working on. I also sometimes switch to knitting for a bit, though my true love is cross stitch! I always enjoy your Flosstubes!
When my stitchy bug leaves, I usually kit up charts and get them into project bags. I also might add beads or buttons to my finish stitched items. I try to do something crafty. Very cool items in the box.
Seeing your Flosstube in my feed tonight put a smile on my face. Glad you found your stitchy bug - mine hides sometimes too. I had to put Mary395 in timeout after I frogged 2 letters. Gingerbread is a new flavor for me, I’ll look for that at the British market where I buy my tea.
My stitching bug doesn't "leave" exactly but I'm finding right now that I'm not quite as engaged or focused. At least I'm still good stitching as much as I can every day!!! Always love seeing what WIPs you pull out to stitch one each video! Happy Thanksgiving.
Between WIPG and WIP Warriors, I'm really pleased with the progress I made on projects I hadn't touched in a while. I've also had more finishes than I would have otherwise. I'm looking forward to both again in 2025! Cozy Cabin is going to be beautiful; I'm going to do my best to use what I have for a bit. The thought of packing up my stash to move is daunting! lol I've got a video going up today - thanks for the nudge! Lots to share! Isn't it funny how when you don't record for a while the thought of doing it becomes a bit intimidating? That first chart from Anniversaries of the Heart calls to me constantly.. which should be weird considering that I don't like actually stitching houses! 🪡👠
I’m so glad to hear that your stitchy bug has returned (and that your wrist is better!). Have you started Santa’s House from Cottage Garden yet? Mary from Mary’s Stitching Corner and I are starting it in a few days and for some reason I have a vague memory of a fabric I thought you said you were considering for it so it’d be fun to have you join this 🙂. And if I’m completely wrong, ignore me 🤣🤣

So when my “stitch bug “ is hiding, I usually watch some Flosstubes. The neighborhood of Flosstubers and stitchers are great motivators!
I’m glad you got your stitch bug back have a happy Thanksgiving

I just subscribed to several floss tubers. Thank you for all the inspiration. Your stitching is beautiful as always.

When my stitchy bug leaves, I tend to re-org and kit up ---- always makes me want to stitch again.
@kima9181 great idea! Thanks ❤️
