Star Trek started out not very colorful

The first pilot of Star Trek differs from the original series in many ways, not just in casting. Although Leonard Nimoy is present as Spock in both pilots and the entirety of Star Trek TOS, the similarities pretty much stop there. Justin points out that that uniforms and sets of the first pilot, The Cage, feels very dull in comparison to the rest of the show. He'd always thought of Star Trek as a very colorful show, but this pilot feels so dull with all of its grays and beiges.
