Cousins, friends, ex-colleagues and a few other neighbours asked me to go to VV Puram Food Street aka Thindi Beedi and try some vegetarian street food. After 6 months of convincing, I finally gave in and made the road trip across town.
Dosa, Bajji, Obbattu, Ice Cream, Fire Paan and 4 other dishes were thulped in one evening. Was pleasantly surprised of how good vegetarian food can taste :p
Highly recommend you to go visit and check the place out, it’s like nothing I’ve seen in Bangalore!

Any trip to thindi beedi must include at final stop at the corner!

Pro tip: ask for more cherries and wash down your meal a most refreshing masala soda :D 🥤

Eating Masala Dosa is waste in Karnataka..they don't know how to make that properly...in masala dosa ,aloo masala must rub on dosa..but there they will leave aloo as lump on dosa

One plate idly in most original Bangalore places is around rs 20-50
In Rajasthan, MH, GJ, breakfast is more costly
You went to the wrong place. The place has lost all the good outlets, poor taste and poor hygiene is all that is left!
There are so many other good places to eat a little away from this street!
