@@cronos9660 he's not even that, the only thing he managed to accomplish was stopping Kane from being buried beneath a mountain of rubble with the elder god. he possibly might have helped saved Nosgoth but we're not even sure if that's the case.
@@weegar he actually did accomplished a bit more on the run, but he wasn't a glorious character, rather a victim. Kain just took a huge bite and is ever taking even more.
This game series DESERVES an updated refresh. NOT a reboot, it's fine as it is.. but update the graphics, console and game play. Change nothign else.. Amen!
I played this game in 1997 or something, its now 2023 and im 31y old. This music is not a earbanger, or even perticularly good. Its timeless perhaps, becouse its ahead of its time. Its not your nostalgia, its a phenominon, an amalgimation of sounds and rythms beat together that resonates with a very niche part of people, a wonderful sensation of dread and foreboding tragedy that just clicks with something dark within your soul. The maddening sound of vengeance unfulfilled.

God was just about the flood the Earth again... then sees that humanity created the Legacy of Kain mythos. Holy shit! I underestimated you guys! Instantly changes the background music of Heaven to Ozar Midrashim. God hasn't been heard of since. Some people don't even think he exist. Truth is he's still playing through the LOK series and dreams of what would happen after Defiance.
Let me tell you a little thing. Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver was originally not going to have anything to do with Legacy of Kain, it was following the path of Paradise Lost if I recall, about an Angel cast out from Heaven seeking vengeance upon God for this deed. They had the brilliant idea of connecting it to Legacy of Kain instead, thus Kain took the role of God tossing his angel Raziel down. So in other words, if God were to look upon Mankind, God would despair and smite us faster and harder than before since this would be a sign of rebellion. - _Insert Kain Laugh here about mild bemusement of terrifying the Gods themselves_

I have never read Paradise Lost, but I was thinking about how perfect something like this would be for when Lucifer was cast down from Heaven. This intro really has a tone that is really legendary and fits something divine. I wish they did a remix of this intro with Lucifer. That this was made 1999 blows my mind.

the true is, Raziel is the villain unaware of his doing and yet able to reverse his doing (through Kain's leading)
