Not to sound romantic but each and every piece of media CIX has released during this era has been like cool wind on a day determined to scorch all things... like a blanket that welcomes you home after ice threatens to encase you in discomfort... Even during Chapter 2 (my fav), which was unapologetically candid and heavy. The MVs play as though I'm watching films that have been life-long loved, and listening to the lyrics has been as enjoyable and engaging as reading my all-time favourite novels. You can really feel the passion that has been put into every single song that has been released, and I'm sooo glad to see that people are being open about their genuine appreciation for CIX and their team in the comments. (Especially considering that the norm on YT is to meme like there's no tomorrow). CIX have something special, without a doubt, and I'm going to be supporting them for as long as they keep producing such soul-surging pieces of work. I'll be honest. there were so many comeback this year. but so far this IS the best comeback by a boy group in 2021. beautiful lyrics, excellent vocals, no unnecessary rap parts just all around well composed with beautiful sonic production. I don't think I've heard a k pop song of this nature in years. Job well done guys. I know they are a fairly new group. I came to know about them this year but i hope this song gets the recognition it truly deserve. its a cultural reset in k pop.

Its just everything and the vocals and layering and also how the producers were so smart in implementing different vocal effects to the member's voices (who already have soothing tones btw) and make it more dreamlike. Its just one of those perfect pop songs with a dash of melancholic rnb

I really love how we are witnessing the improvement and evolution of YongHee's vocals on every comeback, he's really amazing and now I think we can see him more on screen, YongHee is really amazing, perseverant, and hard-working, we have to apprecciate that. SeungHun and JinYoung's vocals are incredible as always. HyunSuk's vocals since debut were incredible, there he rapped, danced, and sang, but here we could appreciate more its tone and warm color. And I was always curious about BX's voice when it come to singing, I thought maybe we would see him singing maybe when they were more experimented or something like that but not this fast. this song just proves how flexible they are. we've seen their vocals rap, their rappers sing, and now their rappers enhanced their flexiblity in singing, there's no rap parts because all of them sang. all the members are so good in dancing, baejin the lead dancer but also choreographs some of their songs, bx and hun having that in born talent in dancing, while yonghee who showed us much improvement since debut. there's nothing they can't do, they can act and their physiques and visuals are so overwhelming. but the most important thing is all of them are so kind and sweet to everyone, not just to fixs, they have the purest heart. they deserve nothing but all the love everyone can give to them, they put all their heart and effort on every thing they do

Love that they didn’t force in a rap break. Been listening to Kpop for more than decade, and many songs you can just tell they added a rap break because they have rappers who need lines. Sometimes the rap break instrumentally doesn’t sound natural too. Love that CIX was like “ this song is chill and only needs vocals, BX, you gonna have to sing,”. Super refreshing.
You're totally right. Groups don't always have to have a freaking rapper. And it's not bad if they do either. But a lot of the times, members that don't have strong vocals are just thrown into the rap section to where they're mediocre too. I feel bad for them.

I'll be honest. there were so many comeback this year. but so far this IS the best comeback by a boy group in 2021. beautiful lyrics, excellent vocals, no unnecessary rap parts just all around well composed with beautiful sonic production. I don't think I've heard a k pop song of this nature in years. Job well done guys. I know they are a fairly new group. I came to know about them this year but i hope this song gets the recognition it truly deserve. its a cultural reset in k pop.

HyunSuk's vocals since debut were incredible, there he rapped, danced, and sang, but here we could appreciate more its tone and warm color.

Love that they didn’t force in a rap break. Been listening to Kpop for more than decade, and many songs you can just tell they added a rap break because they have rappers who need lines. Sometimes the rap break instrumentally doesn’t sound natural too. Love that CIX was like “ this song is chill and only needs vocals, BX, you gonna have to sing,”. Super refreshing.
You're totally right. Groups don't always have to have a freaking rapper. And it's not bad if they do either. But a lot of the times, members that don't have strong vocals are just thrown into the rap section to where they're mediocre too. I feel bad for them.

you can see how Jinyoung ( blue hair guy) is running through a wood, apparantly trying to escape something. this wood is a reference to the first sentence in dante's inferno: "At the midpoint of the journey of life, I found myself in a dark forest for the clear path was lost."
He then arrives at the gate to hell, which bears the phrase: “lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate” this phrase can be found in dante's inferno and means "abandon all hope, you who enter here"
through some cix music videos like “movie star” you can see the same phase.
For understand the concept better you need to watch the story films for the first comeback.
For example :
In the story films yonghee attempted to commit su*cide by jumping off his school's roof in the story films.
the second ring of the seventh circle is for violence against yourself. the souls here are transformed into trees, which are then tormented by harpies, creatures that have the body of a bird and the face of a woman. this is where yonghee is.
