Braton Incarnon Ain't So Bad

I think the Braton Incarnon deserves more credit, it can keep up just fine with the other incarnon weapons, but nobody uses it. I quite like it, and it has a lot of nostalgia for me as well. I recommend picking it up when it comes back around.

I didn't run through the numbers all that much, I just didn't like the weapon on so many levels. The first perk requiring channeling ability is extremely situational (and irritating), the incarnon form just feels bad to shoot, and weapon itself outside of incarnon form is just plain meh at the best of times. The thing feels uninspired, bland and as it's not even stupidly strong, it's a boring weapon to me.. Truth be told I could have described lato exactly the same way.
Still, I'm glad to see someone is having a good time using braton. Back when the weapon rework came out that buffed the low-end primes and so many normal weapons as well as changed their mastery ranks, I had a few braton rivens and I tried to make the thing work but I never quite get the hang of it, or possibly a good roll on my rivens.. so back then I just did stick with my sybaris, which is to this date my most used primary. Haven't touched that thing either in the past few years outside of a few rare occasions.

I've got like a 350 roll and a 550 roll Braton riven, for my Prime with 23 formas. It was my first prime I ever got back before rivens, incarnons, and damage reworks, and its still my most used weapon. Nothing beats the joy of simply "Slash procs go brrrrrrrr" that the Braton gives me. (Plus Zephyr enables this thing to function like a woodchipper.)

My Braton Riven is +165% Crit Chance, +3 Punchthrough, +105% Multishot, and -60% Zoom. With Critical Delay, it's base form has 139% crit chance, and the Incarnon is up to 223%. A sea of orange crits, with a healthy sprinkle of red and when the vigilante set goes off and spikes the crit tier, it's going into the low millions per shot.

My only complaint with that is the -zoom, I hate having -zoom on weapons, drives me nuts.

@@Einzweig people generally quite like -zoom. Rather than even a harmless negative, some people consider it a fake negative.

@@LuminousOriens Oh for sure, because it has no effect on DPS technically speaking, so it's obviously going to be a great option for most people. I just personally dislike it because I suck at aiming, and having horrible zoom makes it way worse.

this is the first gun I got to work after coming back to the game after 4y break and I'm so happy with the investment 6forma and a riven ( States chance 125% , Damage 240% , -30Reload speed) , everything I had before tickle the enemies where 4y ago it used to oneshot 😂,

I feel that. I quit the game a couple years ago and just got back 4 months ago, and I quickly realized that none of my stuff was good anymore.

The reason people love the burston is because it has a giant clip and murders any.

Relative to the firerate, the Braton has roughly the same ammo.

@@Einzweig not really. See if you’re clearing trash then the burst lasts forever. The relative to fire rate would mean that whatever single target you’re burning down dies about the same time for both weapons which means the burst would still be better.

@@kevinelston404 I suppose, since everything dies instantly most of the time. I need to quit thinking about endurance stuff only. I tend to think specifically about level cap, and that isn't what most people play.
