I don't think that's a transistor because it is labeled PD6 instead of Q or PQ6. It may look very similar to a transistor since it has three legs but in reality it's a double diode. This is the code Q = Transistors or PQ = Power Transistor Q could be ( BJT, MOSFET, IGBT etc.) L = Inductors PL = power inductor C or PC = capacitor D or PD = Diode U = Integrated Circuits (IC) R = Resistor If ( P ) is attached to any of these letters just remember that it means Power.
I am having exactly same issues in my hp 840 g2 ,, charging but not increasing, i spent 23k to buy new battery thinking it's battery , but it's not..i took to some technician and they told me it's 50:50 job....i had to take back my pc home
