Photos and videos purporting to show the destroyed bridge were published by the Russian Telegram channels, which claimed the bridge had been struck multiple times. The footage was taken by Russians walking on the bridge. The strike was carried out by a HIMARS missile. According to the Russians, the bridge was hit 4 times before, and this is the fifth. As a result of the impact, the car on the bridge caught fire and its occupants died.
About 30 settlements near the village of Glushkovo, approximately 150 kilometers from Kursk, have been "cut off" due to the attack.
Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk posted later a video, showing the attack on the Russian bridge.
The Insider reported that the Glushkovsky district has three bridges across the Seim River, with the other two located near the settlements of Zvannoe and Karyzh. Roman Alyokhin, an advisor to Kursk Oblast's acting governor and a Russian pro-war blogger, also claimed that Ukrainian forces are targeting the bridge in Zvannoe, about 7 kilometers from Glushkovo, in an attempt to seize part of Kursk Oblast along the river.

GMLRS is not the right tool for destroying bridges because the rockets mechanically penetrate the bridge deck and explode in the river. This could already be seen when Ukrainians tried to destroy the Antonov Bridge in Kherson. The explosion that actually destroyed this bridge could have been either by ATACMS or approx. 500 kg aerial bomb. But Americans do not allow ATACMS to be used in "genuine" Russia. Ukrainska Pravda links the destruction of the bridge with the Ukrainian Air Force, of course, Ukrainska Pravda can also release "fog of the war"

Nope, the Kursk attack is Proof. What other escalation steps are left? Russia itself is invaded = proof that russia is bluffing with nukes. Also, russia doenst want to lose Connection with China and India, which would happen if using nukes. Also, using nukes is not really effective for a battlefield That you are planning to inhabit as your ‘own’ country later. Remmember, russia wants to annex whole of Ukraine.
I hope you are right about China/India. Putin is winning by meat assaults only, which is very precarious for him. He could nuke a small village in Kursk, the fallout might only affect a few square KM. But the Ukies are not going to surrender so it will accomplish little. If Putin nukes central Ukraine I hope NATO will unleash 6,000 fighter jets.
