- This is a video from the most beautiful snow day I have witnessed, going up to the Ski Hut from Manker Flat by Mt Baldy. This was just after a big snow storm and the scenery was stunning with beautiful snow covering everything on the way up to the Ski Hut. I filmed this on November 30th with an iPhone 11 Pro Max, shooting in 4k 60fps.

What a stunning view! I've been eyeing these mountains for the last few days from my home in Costa Mesa, wishing I could get out for a hike. The snow on Saddleback mountain closer to my home has also been beautiful to see. Maybe I'll get out for a hike after the next storm. Very glad I found your channel through Joey's! We got lost in San Gorgonio in the snow and we learned our lesson . Never again.

Norwegian Xplorer , pretty much at the summit. There were still patches of snow.

Did you have to worry about avalanche danger?
I always asses the situation for avalanche danger, I dont remember this particular day exactly and I only went to the Ski Hut, the avalanche area is past the hut.
