We are Jade Falcon, great among the Clans. We are warriors who fight with the strength of the Falcon’s claw, and ascend to the heavens on wings of jade. We remember with the clarity of falcon flight the words of Kerensky. Through the smoke of time, he speaks to us, his chosen, and urges us onward with the promise of Eden. We will retake what is ours by right: that shining jewel, Terra. Not the vastness of space, nor the Wolf’s obstinate howl, will stay us from our righteous goal. We are Crusaders and will trample all who stand in our way.

I just found out who that banner belongs to. And I can see why it citizens and warriors would feel especially violent or desperate in the face of the Clan invasion.
I was thinking more in terms of how they were positioned to take the brunt of the clans without any territory out of the way. Didn't know they got singled out before that.

Wish the mechs in game moved like they do in the animations. So much more fun to be had
The games? They are mostly in universe entertainment products dating from the first half of the 31st Century. People knew rebuilt mechs and new designs were coming out, and that things like neurohelmets were getting fixed after the Helm Memory Core, but only people who had need to know really got to see SLDF grade machines in all their glory. (My in-universe story and I'm sticking to it)
7 years later, this is still a phenomenal release and has never really been topped.
(though your most recent one w/ HPG maybe matches it....)
Great work!
damn this looks so good. They captured the imposing doom of the Daishi coming out of the mist so perfectly, not to mention the really smoooth animations
This needs to be made into a movie.
I see the FRR banner burning... It must be extinguished with the spilt blood of the vat born!
animation really gives me a Dead Leaves vibe. good stuff
GOD DAMNIT this still upsets me. we could have had greatness
If were lucky MW5 will take off with more than just the very specific audience it currently has and things like this will get a more in depth look at. we might be on the verge of a new era!
As someone who was recently introduced and quickly fell in love with Battletech/Mechwarrior in a pure lore sense, this is fantastic, in my opinion a series like this could have had Game of Thrones levels of potential if written and approached right in such a lore heavy universe. I hope you guys really try again for this to work. question, was this going to show the fall of Rasselhague to Clan Ghost Bear? I'm just curious.
Love this anime style, so beautiful! I would pay to see this any day of the week!!!! Just bloody awesome!!!!! Really captures the Battletech/Mechwarrior theme completely.
I'm loving the norse style neurohelmet!
Here, take my money... FOR THE CLANS!!!
Daaaaayyyyuuummmm!!! Somebody needs to get Mr. Netflix on the phone! They can make a decent comic series about Pacific rim, this would kick so much more ass!
I love the animation, reminds me of the cutscenes in Torchlight II
wow I've never seen anything more beautiful in my life.
So this is what a finished work looks like ;D I just came from another video of yours about the starting out of the young mechwarrior in her Hunchback in this video. Your work is fantastic. A lovely blend of action, storytelling and emotion without dialogue. Well done :D
I still like the unfinished artwork of your other video believe it or not. It has a certain raw quality to it :D
You laugh at the man with the katana, but if he can do a melee attack it'll force a piloting check and could knock the Dire Wolf over, thus beginning the cycle of:
Try to stand, fail, falls
Try to stand, fail, falls
Try to stand, fail, falls, pilot blacked out
The odds are slim, but never zero.
In galaxy far from this one in a dimension full horror and abominations a god of war, skulls and blood shed simply smiled as he felt the blood flow
1:45 Bro thinks he's Raiden (MGRR)
STANDING HERE
im genuinely curious if that character we keep seeing, the one with the Hunchback, is the same from Frihet.... if so, i really want more of these top tier animations telling the story of the RR and the invasion
This is actually GOOD!
If someone did a Netflix series or something of Battletech I think it could go far. The Successor States are basically sci-fi distopia Game of Thrones.
This was freaking awesome, well done
Very nice. Run locust run!
Wow, you made a Jagermech look cool. I didn't think that was possible :D.
Would love to see more like this.
The final cut of the Dire Wolf and Atlas just duking it out looks so damn cool, I love it. Clan 'Mechs in MW:5M when?
Netflix needs to get the battletech license hand D.C. Bruins a fat check and they'd have the best new animated series in the bag.
That contact between hunchback and madcat was epic
This is so damn cool. I absolutely love it! I really hope we get to see more!
Only just picked this series up again. Mechwarrior 2 was my first video game and though I was too little to think about the story, I played a lot of skirmishes with the Timber Wolf. Always my favorite mech!
This is fugg'n awesome! I love it and shows how things go down in BTech perfectly!
I just found out who that banner belongs to. And I can see why it citizens and warriors would feel especially violent or desperate in the face of the Clan invasion.
I was thinking more in terms of how they were positioned to take the brunt of the clans without any territory out of the way. Didn't know they got singled out before that.
And why the Hunchback pulled a Miraborg Maneuver?
Whoa! So cool. Can't believe I missed this. 1) I would go very far......walk up to 500 miles 2) I would sacrifice a lot.... at least a buck'o'five.
Awesome work!! I really like the art style.. Monofilament katana vs Masakari = AWESOMESAUCE
A katana against a Daishi/Dire Wolf? Man! And I thought Wrath from FMA: Brotherhood taking out a medium tank with a sword was anime bullshit crazy enough
Vibro-katana too. And the pilot may have disembarked to go hand to hand with the guy. The Clans are big on personal challenges and honor like that.
He watched "Attack On Titan" too many times.
Vibroblades are badass - techs use them to strip off damaged armour.
@@Hopfolk, they also make them Mech-sized. All the bonuses of a Sword, but have a set size and damage when activated, along with heat buildup.
Last Friday I took 3 custom 30 tonners that were only armed with ECM and a Large Vibroblade, but could run up to 151 kph without activating its Supercharger (i.e. 9/14 (18)). 14 damage in melee off of a 30 tonner is no joke. Unfortunately, all I faced were a bunch of jump-happy punchers that night. They managed more damage than the customized Banshee I made armed with Claws and Talons, though (namely because the Banshee couldn't keep up, even with MASC and a Supercharger, and only managed to be in range to hit one thing all night).
@@Hopfolk Standing here, I realize you were
Just like me trying to make history.
But who's to judge the right from wrong.
When our guard is down I think we'll both agree.
That violence breeds violence.
But in the end it has to be this way.
Bring this back.
Would love to revisit, rewrite and start again on this someday, yeah...
@@DCBruinsMedia with the IP being what it is, I know legality for it is a pain in the ass, but their are ways around it, as pioneered by others of whom you are in contact with. Generate some conversation on how, and best of luck my dude. You really have a special passion in your talent and a good network.
love the music, too.
Holy shit I just found this and it's fucking awesome!
Remember there is a tabletop game called "battletech a game of armored combat".
Whaaaaaa??? Thanks to George Ledoux I have found this gem just now. Amazing! Wish I could give some more thumbs up.
Ah, so this is the original! Wish I had found this sooner.
Back again, I still want this to be a thing.
Wow, they actually made the jegermech look cool
Now see? This is good Battletech stuff!
You guys should try again. Maybe something like the Astartes style warhammer short fiilms.
MORE !
***** YaY ! ^^. Question, these Animation are looking realy awesome, but is there a bigger Purpose behind it? i mean its nice watchign this Video over and over again (kinda addictive), so i ask, do you do some kind of ongoing Series liek the old Battletech Cartoon ? Rasalhagish ?? =).
P.s. More =)
1:58
That. That right there. That is pure Battletech.
CLANS JUST DROPPED
I still think your atlas near the end was the reason an atlas got a PPC quirk...
Which I don't mind as that same atlas is the one I used to replicate your build :D
I like your Style, it would be pe perfect for Battletech!
I'm sorry, what. A fucking sword.
Probably a Drac. They tend to be crazy about Katanas. And dying with a sword in hand would probably be up their alley.
WOW!! Just WOW!! Amazing video!!😮 The vision that you put in it is the one that I have playing Battletech😍 And that Hunchback is the boss!! Please give us more of your fantastic work sir🙋👏👏👏
MAKE THIS A TV SHOW LIVE ACTION NOW!!!!!
Would love to see the story of Rasalhague play out on the screen. Whether animated or live action. A shame this didn't work out.
Imagine a full length Battletech feature film with Star Trek reboot level sfx
