1 piece of loot you missed is the dragon head. Every ship has one. When you do eventually get one, place a redstone torch next to it. You done great though. Flying will take practice to master, although it’s not overly complicated. Your world has just opened up vastly.
YESSSSSSSSSssssssssss Thank GOD! I literally just escaped out to type this EXACT thing, when you had it posted! LOL! Thx David for posting this. Exactly!! LOL! I started yelling when he ran away, and didn't see the head! I was like: "NOOOOooooo The dragon head!! GO BACK...oh gosh, PLEASE just look, and he didn't." LOL! He's gotta get it! 🥰😂
Chorus Fruit can save you btw, if you keep some on you. When you start floating too high just eat a piece and it immediately brings you back to the ground
Great job! You're gonna have to practice elytra flying a little bit, then you will be able to travel really fast! No worries on the dragon head, you can go get it later
1) A good habit to take is to take a good method to sort loot into Shulker Boxes from the start. Method may vary depending on what you are looting, but for places with lots of various rewards like End cities or Trial Chambers, I would recommend: Non-Stackables and Stackables. In one box, just dump all tools, armor, horse armor and other non-stackables that you find. Once your box is full you can just leave it in your Ender Chest and grab a new one, as you won't need to look into it again until you go back home. MAYBE keep potions in a different box you will open often, since you MIGHT want to use those. Maybe in your utility box. If you start mixing Ingots, Diamonds and Emeralds into your non-stackables, you will either pull every box out of your Ender Chest every time you try to sort out your inventory, or give up on pulling out every box every time and end up with a few stackables split in 5 different boxes and wasting space. TONS of wasted time and manipulations. And when you reach the point you need 2 boxes of stackables, I suggest to split one for the stuff you mine on site, like End Stone and Purpur Blocks in End cities or Copper and Tuff Bricks in Trial Chambers, that you probably have multiple Stacks at that point already, And one for your Valuables like Diamond and Ingots, utilities like extra food and Rockets, and non-native materials you brought that you may need to use, like Wood and Chests. Also, keep an empty Bundle or 4 in that box. I totally get the feeling of "Oh, sorting stuff is a pain, I'll do that later", but if you tried to use a stopwatch and count how much time you spend managing your inventory while exploring, you would notice that once you get past 2 Shulker Boxes, the time wasted grows exponentially with every new box you add in the mix. Keeping things tidy from the start saves a TON of time in the long run. 2) Shulkers can self-multiply. And I don't mean birds and bees stuff. One Shulker can become two. If a Shulker gets hit by a Shulker Bullet, there's a chance it will split in two. 100% chance when there's only one Shulker left, but odds go down pretty fast the more are around. That's why when enter a room with 3 mobs, after a WW2 style battle where you killed 3 mobs there's still 2 mobs left. It's not that you hadn't noticed those mobs from the start, they were born from stray bullets mid-fight.
Honestly, I would probably leave most of the non-stackables where they are. By the time you get to the End, you don't need yet another Fortune II diamond shovel, or Thorns IV chestplate, or whatever, and once you get elytra, you *definitely* don't need horse armor. Occasionally you find a non-stackable item worth keeping, but 90% of it is trash. You take the minerals (diamond, gold, iron) because you can always find a use for them and, at this point, you have shulker boxes so you may as well; but what you're really there for are the shulker shells and elytra, and maybe some end rods if you don't have a blaze farm yet. Some players like to take the trims and music discs. The rest, meh. (End stone and obsidian, can be obtained in bulk from the central island, so you don't need to go to the outer islands for those. And one chorus flower is enough to let you grow arbitrarily many of them, if you really want to build with purpur.)
once you got mending and unbreaking on your wings, practices flying till you get decent and go back and get like 6 more wings in the end. trust me you WILL lose your wings and when you do its a life saver when you have at least one backup to go back in the end and get more, 10x faster than on foot
Even the developers agree that end stone looks like cheese. They added the moon to minecraft as an April fools joke. It's made of cheese and the texture is just a desaturated version of end stone
The End really needs an update, with more biomes, like they finally did for the nether. When they do that, there obviously needs to be at least one archipelago-style End biome, with lots of holes in the terrain, and tiny tiny islands close enough to jump between, to keep players on their toes. It'll be fun, it'll be fun, it'll be fun. And yes, looting can get you more shells per shulker, though I don't know if the off-hand-looting trick works on Bedrock. And yeah, now that you have shulker boxes and elytra, there are all *sorts* of things you can finally do.
Oh gosh, that would be super cool! And we can't do off-hand in bedrock. One of the downsides that I've learned, but it's what I know, so I don't miss it.
I've often thought about Endermen like this. If they were once of Steve's race and did make it to the end, once they ran out of food, the only food they had was the chorus fruit (which makes you randomly teleport). Driven mad by being in the end dimension and only having the chorus fruit to eat, they eventually ate too much of it and made them have the ability to randomly teleport, but they can't control the duration between each teleportation. Notice how they'll run at you to attack and randomly be teleported away only to then run at you again. I don't think this is an attack strategy that they have, it's just the best they can do because of the curse they inflicted upon themselves.
Man I only saw your first couple of episodes this summer when you didn't have a clue at all and a couple of months later here you are getting Elytra. Lol ! respect the dedication of the journey
One thing I love about this game is how every person plays it differently from one another! You did a great job in this area, your strategy with the bow and the boots of feather falling prevented you from a really hard time with the shulkers lol! Great video as always!!
Congratulations on your Elytra! The game really just begins, once you've gotten your elytra! No more long trips to distant places, now they are only two or three rockets away LOL!
Hey Dad a little tip with the endrods, you can use them as mushroom stems along your paths and if you grow giant red mushrooms you can go under and place one in each corner (Waxfraud tip) copyright stuff just in case. Got some Sheepwood in coming keep up all the great work.
Awesome. Hope you like it. 😊 I’m gonna have to go back for even more end rods eventually. I’ve probably only just barely scratched the surface out there.
17:40 You were actually very *UNLUCKY* at first end building. Most have an enderchest, with larger, multi-building cities, having multiple enderchests.
Congratulations! You got your wings! I really don't think you're going to struggle with the Wither that much. Take SMITE -- Sharpness is well-rounded but Smite is OP against all undead mobs, and that includes all 4 zombie variants, all 4 skeleton variants, zombified piglins, phantoms, and the Wither itself. A handful of golden apples will do well, and you already have the bow for the job. But no rush, you do things at your own pace. Nice job today!
For the dad that plays I think I mentioned the dragon head in one of my past comments can’t remember if it was the first time you went to the end city or if it was the woodland mansion video but don’t forget you need to do another video on the woodland mansion to find the hidden rooms and all the loot and look inside that chicken statue made of wool Clear out every room and knock through all the walls of each room or use scaffolding to look through each window from outside looking in and sorry not been on for dad lands for awhile been playing farm simulator 25 I think after you have done with Minecraft you should have a look at playing farming Sim 25. You can have up to 16 players online in multiplayer and I know a quick way to make a lot of money in the game if you’re interested in playing farming similar to 25
Damn you’ve progressed so fast. Already have wings to sore over the landscapes. Our boy has grown so fast 😭 But also yeah, the Bedrock Wither is a force of nature. And with the recent enchanted golden apple nerf, it just got harder (debatably). The Wither fight is on par with the dragon fight in terms of difficulty, except that the wither is even more destructive and is hell bent on destroying anything that lives. Godspeed once you take it on.
