I love how you performed. You allowed enemies to lay hits on you, you allowed time for Ganondorf and the other bosses to show off all of their attacks and took no shortcuts so the entirety of the game could be presented. Thank you - it really was theatrical.
john bucar Yeah I think he didn’t do it on purpose but overall the cinematic value was strengthened by it. And after all, the name of the channel is Nintendo MOVIES. Haha
I'm 39 years old, so most would expect that I played the original Zelda on the NES, but nope, this game was my introduction to the Legend of Zelda series, really. This was the first LOZ game that I played, and man...this game is truly a work of art. You can say the graphics haven't aged well, etc, etc, but this game is still just beautiful to me. You really have to respect what the designers were able to do given the limitations of the hardware.
This games has such a magical charm to it. Everything about it is enchanting, the places, the characters, the music, the sounds when you find a new item or discover a secret area. In my opinion, no game has matched this ones magical atmosphere. It's difficult for me to tell how big a role nostalgia plays in it, but I really don't think it's just nostalgia that makes this game so great.
@Manek Iridius Also, saying majoras mask is better in every way is stupid, majoras mask is more of a platformer game than anything, they can hardly be compared other than graphics lol.
@Manek Iridius Firsly, metal isn't shit, although you shouldn't steal to afford going to metal shows, secondly, don't agree with you when you say it's nostalgia, although I agree it's partially nostalgia they games is still wonderfully well designed and way ahead of it's time for a game released in the 90s, you won't find a single open world 3d adventure game from the 90s that could match Zelda, they really blew everyone out of the water game design wise and these games did alot to raise the bar for the industry as a whole, revolutionary game imo, it'd be a huge discredit to say it's all thanks to nostalgia, game designers did great work.
This is the story of a great hero. Navi, the unwavering fairy who took it upon itself to accomplish the greatest task of all: getting a lazy teenage boy to listen.
You know it's a great game when more than 20 years later you're still able to watch a whole video which is nostalgic but also makes you want to play it again
I love how this is less a walkthrough, more a showcasing of the game. The little things, like saying 'no' when you really can't, just to show how the other character reacts to that...
Sometimes I play and watch this game, and try so hard to latch on to that distant feeling of when I first played the game. The first experience watching my older brother play it stands as one of my favorite memories of life. This game was and is truly a work of magic

This game was first introduced to me at a very young age, my aunt would play it all the time. I remember the first time I really tried playing it - I couldn't get past the Great Deku Tree lol. (I was like, maybe five?) I tried again years later after my aunt mentioned it in passing and said she'd found her old copy of the game. I played it through and was so proud of myself when I beat it. The entire game brought nostalgia from when I would watch it with my aunt, and at some point she'd watch me play it. This playthrough brought back that nostalgia of watching my aunt, we'd sit in silence the whole time and she'd just go for hours. Thank you for making this ❤
I love how cute Navi sounds when she speaks to Link lol. This video brought so many good memories from my childhood, this is so nostalgic for me. Thank you for uploading this video and for not talking during it.
18/12/2019 I finally finished the whole game for the very first time!. For a game in the 90s, its really a great game with beautiful story, challenging quest, even more challenging sidequests, tough bosses and of course a great ending! Overall it is a great game. Your skill was great too! Most of the time you finish the side quest and bosses within 1 or 2 times only. Meanwhile, I finish a side quest or boss after countless times. Sometimes, I'll rage quit and just turn off the emulator. It took me about 2 weeks to finish the whole game for the first time. However, its all worth it!! Thanks for uploading this video and sorry for the grammar. English is not my first language.
8/12/2022 finished it after playing it every day for 40 days there many moments when it felt like the game was made in 2010. Such a beautiful tale and a great controls. Nothing felt nicer than defeating a really hard boss. Overall best game I’ve played, an escape from reality we all need

Totally agree! When I’m working and have a social life, I don’t have time to sit and reminisce. The only upside of this pandemic is dedicating some time to things like this!
Great run 👏! I watched the whole run so well done. For those of you who are using this as 100% guide he did miss a couple of things on film due to camera problems and forgot 1 bonus. 1 gold skulltula he didn’t show can be found in the lost woods. Take the magic bean plant and it will take you to the gold skulltula. Also you can win a cow at the ranch by racing and getting a score of 49 seconds. Light arrows can be attained by heading to the temple of time. Also a fairy fountain can be found outside the lost woods right before entering the forest temple. Awesome video!
Man this is by far my favorite game of all time. I remember getting this for Christmas right after it came out and playing it obsessively for MONTHS. I never used a guide or internet to find my way thru the game, and that made the experience soooo much better. I’m watching the part where you’re in the forest temple now and that was always my favorite part of the game. I love the temple layout and the enemies, the music, the boss, it’s just perfect. I think I’m gonna go out this weekend and grab an N64 and ocarina and do a play through again! I’ve just finished BOTW and need another game to play! Thanks for posting
As someone who hasn't played this game in forever and wants to play it again but has forgotten a lot, being able to watch this and remember where to go or what to do and finally do a 100% run is awesome. Thanks for an amazing playthrough!
God I'm not even exaggerating this saved the five page paper I had due; I just played it in the background and let the soothing sounds wash over me as the game played in my head. Thank you for posting this, thank you for actually seeming like you enjoyed what you were doing, thank you for taking your time... I could go on but that paper won't write itself :)

Truly remarkable playing loved every minute of it. Watched this several times b4 w someone else playing it and didn't do anywhere near what you did. Never knew there was so much more to do
So crazy to look back at this, I just had a baby boy and man it’s been a trip. I spent a lot of time remember myself as a I’d and some of the things that stuck with me.. this game was definitely one of them and since I no longer have the n64 I was a bit sad that I couldn’t revisit this part of my childhood till I found this video. Thank you for doing this walk through. I watched the whole thing in between feedings, my sons naps and before I head off to bed. I hope my son one day gets to play this somehow and that it sticks with him as much as it did me. To those in a similar boat, I wish you and your kids great health and happiness. Thanks again for this upload, it’s a great way for people like to get in touch with our youth.
Did i sit here and watch this whole play through? Yes, yes i did. And i enjoyed it as much as a i did when i was a kid. Beautiful play through. A true work of art.
This has brought back memories with me and my dad, we used to take turns trying to catch the biggest fish and beat each others record. Good times they were ty for this video this zelda game for ever remain in my heart as of my memories also.
I know I’m a few years late, but what an awesome video. It took me a few days to watch, but I absolutely loved it. This game was a big part of my childhood
I have been thoroughly familiar with this game for a long time, but this was the first time I actually experienced it from start to finish. As someone who only recently got into the _Zelda_ franchise (and thus have no childhood memories or nostalgia of it), I can safely say that this game deserves to be considered the greatest ever. Everything about it is just... right. From the magical feeling of getting to know the world in the beginning, to the action-packed finale.
The gameplay was amazing, such a brilliant work you made, you made clear all what the game was about, showed everything, all the attacks, technique's, all the bosses attacks as well, keep it up
This video deserves way more credit than it's getting. 100% complete is pretty hard. I remember playing this when i was a kid and maybe found 80% tops. Awesome stuff mate
Thank you so much for the play through!!! I just finished the game and I want to say thank you!!! Without your guide, I wouldn’t have been able to finish the game!!!
I work in IT & finding this gameplay with no comments is pure bliss. I find this game's gameplay so relaxing & helpful to focus it like a joke hahaha. Good video, man! Edit: 2:51:04 I really enjoyed the Bombchu minigame... seeing Link spinning makes me feel he was almost to rage quit XD hahaha
Amazing played. Even though I've not played a full 100% story, it'd have been great to see more use of the long sword and to have seen the scene where Zelda is captured, had to watch it somewhere else. Amazing times to remember. I'll always feel this little sadness when I know the end is coming. Thank you!
Thanks a lot for the guide! I played the game along the video in my second monitor and followed every step that you made. After all these years, after all those hours playing as a kid and completing the game, I can say that I complete the game 100%. Again, thanks a lot for the guide, I can say in words what I feel c:
First of all, thanks for uploading this, it was beautiful to watch you play it and following in your steps: well, mostly... I forgot a skultulla somehow, couldn't get the heart from digging in the graveyard and I got bored hunting the poes. I've never even held a N64 control before or played any of its games until last year. I got a recalbox with every oldies game, from prince of Persia to Crash team racing. I always love the NES console and of course fell in love with SMB3. Unfortunately, I went from there to the sega console, a brush with gameboy (just pokemon) and then straight to ps1, which blew my mind with crash, spyro, ape escape, medievil and many others... The minute I got this recalbox I played super mario 64 and Ioved it! But then I got into Ocarina and I had no words: the music, the movements, the inventory, the secrets, the story and the awesome characters, with Sheik being my absolute favorite, maybe because of the (after Snape's, clearly) best plot twist ever: oh my f'ing god!!!! I enjoyed so much fighting ganondorf, volvaglia, bongo bongo and the witch sisters, including all the minor bosses. I hated soooo much the shooting range in Gerudo, but that was the best "world" alongside Death mountain. Sorry it took me so long to write this, but I just wanna thank you again for helping me love and beat this beautiful +20 y.o. gem of a game, definitely the best everrrr. If you happen to see and like this, could you give me an advice: which zelda game should I play now? Link's awakening, a link to the past or majora's mask? Cheers from Argentina!!!
Wonderful walkthrough! Thank you for your time and efforts. I might’ve missed it somewhere in the video (I didn’t skip anything except cutscenes). Once you collected your 100th skulltula outside the castle, I actually had 99. I was able to see that I was missing one in the Lost Woods still and it was simply the one that required me to ride the planted bean up to the platform above and there was the 100th skulltula. Again, you might have shown that on the video, but I missed it somewhere along the way. So if anyone else happens to get to 99, perhaps that’s the one. Thanks again for the great video!
Windwaker was my first introduction and I fell in love. Everyone always talked about how great this game was so I decided to watch this and I’m not disappointed. I’ll definitely be playing this very soon for myself. This was awesome. Thanks for this 🙏🙏
I got 5 hours into somebody else's longplay before I realized they didn't do it 100% I missed seeing the mini games (mainly the fishing Lol) and the house of skulltula! Thank you for posting!
I can't believe I watched all of this, this guided me through out my game I love this game so much ocarina of time and wind waker hold a special place I my heart thank you so much I'm pretty much crying because of how beautiful it is I can't thank you enough I never wanted it t finish but hey all things come to an end right thank you for this so much and I am looking forward to your 20 hour long majoras mask again thank you so much I can't thank you enough
I have watched so many speed runs of this game that I almost forgot how it was intended to be played. I never knew that you could have the guard open the Castle Gate for Rupees if you are persistent enough.
AMAZING music and sound work. Jewel of the 90's. The times when you only had one chance to make it right. Kinda miss those times. Developers intended to play the "one chance only" game. That formula made some of the greatest titles of the video gaming culture.
this hands down has to be the best run-through i have ever had an opportunity to follow, thank you, I played along the 3DS version and it was exactly the same but the most enjoyable was seeing the graphical differences in the game.
I was 29 when this game was released, booyyyy i spent some hours playing this.......and i never did finish it! :) In my estimation this is the greatest game ever!!
Appreciate this walkthrough dude! This is my first time playing this game & I love it!!!! Been following along with you, so again thanks for showing me around this entire masterpiece & of course, I've subscribed to your channel too!!
Thank you for this, it really helped me. Also, I found the Hylian shield in the graveyard. So, there's my tip for you, that way there you don't have to buy one. It was under one of the tombstones you can pull out. I think it's the second one from the end right next to where the gold Skulltula was.
When I first played this game I used to think that you HAD to fight every single enemy that you're confronted with. I was blown away when I saw this was 12 hours long! I probably spent 200 hours on this game LOL
I respect this play through so much!! Not only do you play it well but you take your time to collect “small things” I know it says 100% but still lol great content :)
This is incredible. A legitimate 100% Longplay that actually looks human - making mistakes to really make it feel like you're in the room with another person playing this game. I absolutely love this video. Keep up the great work!

I really enjoyed this playthrough. Helped me out multiple times as I recently bought Ocarina on my N64. You have made a new subscriber out of me

Did i sit here and watch this whole play through? Yes, yes i did. And i enjoyed it as much as a i did when i was a kid. Beautiful play through. A true work of art.
I can't believe how fresh this game still feels, even though it's pretty much the first 3D action adventure. This was a good upload.
thanks for making this! all the little editing touches were super appreciated too. what a game!
8:30:46 I was lurking here for 16 hours non stop but your vid helped me a lot. Thanks 😊
"Because of music, that's why."
fuck yes
Oh yesssssssssss
This game traumatized me when i was a kid. There's something spooky abt this game
I definitely agree with the something spooky bit
@@br1nceofficial109 im 35 now and even watching this video gives me the creeps lol
Reggie Tjahjadi theres something so mysterious about the legend of zelda series. feel like there’s so much hiding behind it
The bottom of the well and the shadow temple creeped me out. And giant black claws falling on you from above? Yeah. Creepy.
Oof I can only imagine with Majoras lol
24 years later, and this game still remains a masterpiece.
This game has such amazing atmosphere! The music and sound design are simply legendary! Ive been constantly tearing up watching this playthrough…
This is the best game ever!! Used to play this with my dad when i was little, brings back so many memories plus I just completed it again 🥰
The gameplay was amazing, such a brilliant work you made, you made clear all what the game was about, showed everything, all the attacks, technique's, all the bosses attacks as well, keep it up

Just wanted to say thank you, I followed this from step 1 and finally was able to complete this 100%.
Thank goodness there’s a video of this with no voice over.
Thank you!!!
Me: **about to fall asleep with 30 minutes left of the clock**
Also me: I don't need sleep. I need answers
Edit:

I really enjoyed the Bombchu minigame... seeing Link spinning makes me feel he was almost to rage quit XD hahaha
i feel so sad when i watch this :( this is my childhood i miss it
The thing that Zelda has that Mario doesn’t is an incredible storyline

I don't care if you didn't play this in 1998. I don't care if you played the remake on the 3DS. But if you played this game. You are a legend.
Amazing played. Even though I've not played a full 100% story, it'd have been great to see more use of the long sword and to have seen the scene where Zelda is captured, had to watch it somewhere else. Amazing times to remember. I'll always feel this little sadness when I know the end is coming. Thank you!
this game was such a big part of my childhood, i played it constantly in elementary
link is so polite closing all the doors he goes through
I’ve played this game over 20x now and not even 15 min into the video and you already taught me stuff I didn’t know about the game.🤘🙏💙
Playing this in 2019, love it! After all these years there’s still things I didn’t know. Thx
I played this game for the first time in 1998
Monkeybusiness187 Pfleipflei totally
Monkeybusiness187 Pfleipflei does he ever get the Biggoron sword? I’m only 7 hours though the game
Monkeybusiness187 Pfleipflei I got the song of
Storms. I’m trying to get the big fish lol it’s hard
Monkeybusiness187 Pfleipflei got it! Moving on finally
If you liked Ocarina of Time you should play Majora's mask
A Link between Worlds is super fun and the soundtrack is amazing!
Thanks again for the great video!
same issue here. i have 98 :( gonna go check the spot you're talking about even im sure i did get it. worst feeling ever lmao

Windwaker was my first introduction and I fell in love. Everyone always talked about how great this game was so I decided to watch this and I’m not disappointed. I’ll definitely be playing this very soon for myself. This was awesome. Thanks for this 🙏🙏
Great job with both the gameplay & editing! Really enjoyed this!

Here I am, everytime I start to play this Wonderful game, as if were the 1st, time.
Thanks a lot 🙏🏼👍🏼👌🏼👏🏼💪🏻
I feel bad for you on the graveyard.
AMAZING music and sound work. Jewel of the 90's.
The times when you only had one chance to make it right. Kinda miss those times. Developers intended to play the "one chance only" game. That formula made some of the greatest titles of the video gaming culture.

in the span of 3 days I've binge watched this whole video. thanks for the nostalgia provided
My favorite thing about these walkthroughs is that everyone in the comments feels equally as nostalgic me :)
this hands down has to be the best run-through i have ever had an opportunity to follow, thank you, I played along the 3DS version and it was exactly the same but the most enjoyable was seeing the graphical differences in the game.
I think it's the second one from the end right next to where the gold Skulltula was.
i love the nintendo easter eggs in the castle artwork, such a genius touch
When I first played this game I used to think that you HAD to fight every single enemy that you're confronted with. I was blown away when I saw this was 12 hours long! I probably spent 200 hours on this game LOL
I respect this play through so much!! Not only do you play it well but you take your time to collect “small things” I know it says 100% but still lol great content :)

At 37:00 BHAHAHA “ my dad left for m8lk and hasn’t come back” THIS GAME KNEW THE FUTURE OF JOKES. AHEAD OF ITS TIME
Watched the whole playthrough and this game is absolutely fantastic!
This is incredible. A legitimate 100% Longplay that actually looks human - making mistakes to really make it feel like you're in the room with another person playing this game. I absolutely love this video. Keep up the great work!
