Benny, u should never eat food, especially warm or hot food in or on a leathered enclosed environment. The steam from the food has food and acid vapour in it. When it settles on the leather, it starts to carrode or even rots the skin of the leather upholstery. It can also dry out the skin, causing it to crack after a short time because of the fungus.
