Selaco - Exodus Plaza South lvl 18

Into the South wing of the Exodus Plaza. I rob a bank and find a caged up teddy bear and make all of my enemies fear my name. While easily overlooking secrets.
Selaco is a fast-paced boom shooter built in the GZDoom engine. It takes inspiration from both F.E.A.R and Doom and blends both worlds in a chaotic form of harmony. It is a retro game in the best way possible.
Selaco was just released on May 31, 2024, and so far in a world of poorly designed and optimized triple AAA and now Quad AAAA games. Selaco is a fantastic gem that gives players what they pay for and expects nothing else in return.
I am truly looking forward to delving further into this game and exploring all that it has to offer.
Difficult is Captain.
I am running the game in 2k Ultra settings with the ridiculous settings on and scale factor at 2x. So far, I've seen a few dips but nothing major or long term.

The game certainly brings back a nostalgia for all the old 90s games. A certain kind of fast paced chaos mixed in with the satisfaction of finding a useful secret. I'm glad the developers let players explore and return to previous areas to continue exploring and discovering. It helps mitigate the overall frustration.
