Higher position will require 3-4 interviews 45 min ea. so with explanations and few examples it is easily 4+ hour video. We don't come here for entertainment so I personally would love longer videos and I can just pause if needed. More questions covered in this casual yet professional manner better - people need to see that interviewers are just regular people and it is just normal conversation with a stranger, especially now we can do interviews in the comfort of our home. Thank you for great content looking forward for more.
Thanks a lot for such detailed feedback. We will record more videos like this one or even longer soon 🙌
@@Codemify Agreed with the OP and look forward to watching this, having the videos divided into sections in the future would be greatly appreciated though :)
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience, guys! The manual question Anton answered in the end was really helpful because even though I’m on my transition to automation, I still work mainly as manual QA. Also, you guys mentioned a few automation tools that I’m not aware of so it’s always nice to know the tools used in other countries too. Much respect! 🙌🏻
Thanks a lot for the feedback, Thiago
Good information all around. Helpful to get information from different perspectives. I agree with everything that was said and have run into the same questions in my experience as well.
Thank you for the feedback, Chris
Thank you for your videos! They are great!
Thank you for the warm feedback!
Very nice video, even though i didn't need any of it, i just wanted to hear pros talk about QA stuff since i am a Senior QA video game tester and just got onboarded on a much larger project than the one i was on and i'm getting a git of the impostor syndrome, bit anxious even though everything's going smoothly, everyone's nice.
One thing that really feels awkward is how nervous some testers look when they talk to me, like i was intimidating even though they're the ones who know what they're doing on the project.
That's a good point. Usually, when you join another project/company and you have more Junior people they are afraid of you as you will take their jobs. It's not logical but it happens very often. It's just a matter of time before they will get comfortable with you. But you can also speed up this process by offering them help and just being super nice to them
Thank you for this topic. It's too clear and understandable.
Our greatest pleasure! Don’t forget to share it with friends 😉
Really helpful, Sergii. Enjoyed this
Thanks a lot, Jeff!
Thanks for the information and sharing it with us.
The only thing: “Lets not talk about automation” and the whole video was about this.
It will be great to see the video for Junior QA position. I guess it will be very helpful for a lot of people.
Thank you for the feedback, it's a good point! We will record one soon
Thank you guys for doing this video, it's really helpful. At first, I guess I'm gonna get bored but no, I keep listening and taking notes LOL. Thanks again

Very useful information
Thank you for the feedback, Mykola 💪
Great video! I’m still in the process of learning the only thing that scares me is my english level. Tought u were a native speaker at the beginning. I’m going to apply for some positions soon and im afraid to get stuck during the interview tbh D:
Great job on learning! Make sure to speak with everyone including YOURSELF in English ♥
I did it back in my days, and you can see the result. Btw, singing Eminems song have helped me with accent :)
Good luck in the job search, and let me know if I can help 💪
@@Codemify Thanks! I'm definetly gonna try singing method. Looking forward to watch your other videos. Keep it up!!
Thank you
Our greatest pleasure!
Good job guys! Suggestion: Why not for the future videos show how write a good test case step by step. In another one, how to write a nice test plan, so forth....
Thank you for the feedback, Carlos! We do teach that in our course

First of all, thank you for interview. Can yu record about specific test tasks during interview? for example how to test a pen or something like this
Thanks a lot! It was very interesting interview. I would like to see more videos like that. Especially about manual and API testing for juniors. Glory to Ukraine!
My pleasure, Lolita! We've just recorded similar one for behavioral interview. Manual and API coming soon. Glory to the heroes!

Good luck with your search!
My greatest pleasure
I think these questions are for maybe an intern. I think you're underestimating how much knowledge companies are requiring for entry level positions.
Correct. Some company might consider some question an entry level, the other might consider it mid level. Throughout my experience I’ve seen Juniors getting senior positions and seniors getting Junior positions. It all depends on a day, mood, economy, and mainly on the position of our planet against the Mars 🙃
I would like to hear an interview for the middle SDET position
Will do 🤝
Like for the Trident. Respect.
Thank you, Oleksandr!
You have perfect English! I would never think that you are not native speaker. What did you do?
Thanks a lot, Ksenia =) It's a pleasure to hear it!
I did practice a lot singing Eminem's songs in order to improve an accent. Give it a shot :)
Like, except the info for Tryzub ! 💗
How hard is it to find a job in QA automation for a junior?
P.S. Ukraine ❤ 🙏
At the moment it's more challenging to find a job as a junior vs mid. But it's always possible if you try different methods and learn from your experience ❤
There are a lot of tech layoffs, do you think this is still a good field to get into?
Based on the history of the IT sphere I will say yes it is. It's a matter of time when it will pick up again
how easy to switch a career to QA pls let know when u switch from different area
QA is also called a backdoor to IT. The full course takes 5 months to teach you everything from scratch including coding
Usefull information! Thank you, guys! and Слава Україні!
Glory to the heroes 🙌
How will a candidate who just completed QA Automation and Manual Bootcamp face an interview without experience? I need your real advice and suggestion please?
Not sure about other schools but we provide real experience during the course. So you could talk about it during the interview
Has anyone of you had an interview at Disney in Florida, do you remember any question you were asked? Position is QA Automation Engineer

Hi I am chinna from India how can I get USA remote jobs from India having 7.03years experience in ui testing, API testing and database testing , SQL so please help me any one i am facing lay-off issue family facing financial issues.
Hi YBC, India is one of the biggest IT markets in the world at the moment. You could try to hit both US and India markets simultaneously to increase your chances
Hey sergi,
Can you tell us how you got a job in usa?
Sure:
1. Got experience
2. Prepared for an interview
3. Applied
4. Fail/passed
🦦🎩
@@Codemify one more question cuz I have a situation rn :) would it be better for my professional experience to work in a startup which has loads of work (80% manual testing 20% automation) or to work in a world known and established company in my country(but doesn’t have as much work)? What would be better for my experience like what would employers in usa like more?
It's an interesting question! Both options have it's benefits:
1. Startup - you get a lot of experience which you can mention in your resume and also during the interview. Which will help you to be found by keywords in linkedin and will sell you during the actual interview
2. Enterprise - The name itself will bring attention. So recruiters will be reaching out to you just because you worked there.
My personal decision would be startup as I like to do a lot and to learn a lot :)
I hope you will make the decision that will keep you happy in the future!
@@Codemify thank you.. 🤍

36:40 "Let can be redeclared and can not be reassignned?" it seems that you have a mistake here..
You are correct. Should be there other way around!
Can you not direct go to the interview questions ??
Too much taking wasting time
Can I not go direct to interview questions? - Pard me, not getting it
I’m here because I’m too lazy to read articles about interviews🤷🏼♂️
Lazy people are the best test automation engineers. Cause they like to automate things so they wouldn’t have to do them manually 😁🫡
@@Codemify exactly my task nowadays 😂 (i’m sw test eng)
Hahahaha
I wish their voices were little more clear not like morning voice. Sounds very husky!
Good advice! Will record the next one in the evening ;)
Is there any particular reason why everyone is Ukranian?
hahaha We have American students as well. But mostly they are eastern europeans. For the reason that most Americans don't believe into fast career change. We do have people from Brazil, Australia, Africa, Turkey etc. See other videos :)
Пикольно, що всі з колишнього СНГ, а проходять співбесіду англійською
Так. Ми всі живемо в США й працюємо тут 🫡
