Our Blanding's Turtle Having Lunch

This video features one of our Blanding's turtles - Juan - having one of his two meals a day. Juan loves to eat mealworms, which you can see him eating in this video. We house two Blanding's turtles in our Children's Library, Juan and Vlad, and we plan to release them back to Great Meadows where they were born when they grow more and are in less danger of being attacked by predators. Blanding’s turtles are among the most threatened species of turtles in the northeastern United States.
