Omggg I was listening to you talk abt editing on the imp and Skizz podcast and had to come back to rewatch this ep of wild life because the editing in this episode is *chefs kiss*. I remember adding it to my rewatch playlist when it came out because the clear narrative storyline of skizz beginning to really hold his own in the spanners, making peace with scar, and deciding not to kill lizzie kept me totally invested (even tho my attention span is awful) and the slow build-up of nostalgic music at the end culminating with remembering mumbo’s season was so heartfelt and somehow poignant for a pvp mc series (probably because it’s mumbo, everyone loves him), absolutely genius creative choice skizz!
It's crazy that neither Mumbo or Grian remember Scar reading his secret. They were the only two that were there and they were telling Scar to read it carefully to himself before he read it out loud. Then after Scar read it Grian said "you could have started over" the 30 minutes of not calling people by their name. Then Mumbo and Grian walked Scar to the fail button but Grian made the executive decision to let him push the reroll for hard. It all starts at 8:23 in Scar's episode 1. I just rewatched it and Skizz was there, but only at the very end when Scar rerolled. Also, Grian put the decision to reroll as a server-wide vote (unanimous), not strictly executive. It's too funny that the only 3 people who were there are the ones who got asked and couldn't remember. But, Scar didn't actually click the fail button at that point so one might argue that's a technicality and and failing could be interpreted as actually pressing the button; I would argue against that as failing *results* in pressing the button and pressing the button isn't the act of failing itself, just the act of accepting the consequence.
there is something so nice about the end of this episode. skizz impressing grian through the entire episode after falling behind the other two in the past just for them to lose mumbo and then tango was there. hm something about mumbos final death seems Familiar doesn’t it

I don't know whether it was foreshadowing or a jinx when grian said surprisingly we aren't out today, and then mumbo says I totally thought i was gonna. lol
skizz has definitely shown in the past to be able to be really creative with trap ideas, he use to be a it guy, works with computers even if it was working with the parts or the programs he has the idea of how things connect, he genuinely has the potential to be a good red stoner maybe not good at item sorters, comparators or hoppers who knows how they work. But he'd be able to understand the part that causes the powered rail to activate, the actual part with the tnt minecart and what powers then. So theoretically (if i remember correctly) I don't remember if this works in java or bedrock but I'm pretty sure it does if you connect a redstone torch to a tnt block via the side of the tnt block it doesn't activate it. Soooo put a tnt block in the floor inside a doorway so move the door to the outside but like still being able to be a door you put a pressure plate on the tnt make it so obvious it's a trap that whoever is there looks down and goes "that's basically free tnt that wouldn't kill me" so they break it but by breaking it they've activated the actual trap by breaking the redstone torch which would be hidden in the wall then it'd unpowers a repeater which then powers the next redstone torch through a wall, it activates a powered rail which causes 2-4 (I'd go with three but four is probably alot safer) tnt minecarts to crash into a wall which makes them explode
