Our daughter was such a heavy wetter that this happened in most brands of diapers for us. Plus she was a sensory loving baby and loved to play with that chemical junk so we ended up switching to cloth diapers. We tried many many kinds and the cheap pre-folds with covers were the best for both my daughter and my son. With cloth you can put in two prefolds at night/naps. It does really create much more laundry, though, and that wasn't fun. I will say ours were never as bad as Lincoln's diapers have been lately.

I would email Huggies, you could of gotten a defective pack. I once bought a box that half the tabs ripped right off just putting the diapers on. You will get a "coupon" refund.
They certainly have cheapened their "cheap" pack. So that you need to buy their more expensive ones to get the "Huggies" quality. I am currently loving Loves. The price and how well they work!! I have 5 kids though, and have gone back and forth with brands over the years. Pampers and Huggies I swear take turns actually putting out good quality diapers!! So you don't know what you are getting until you try them and go back and forth! (my oldest is 19 my youngest is 3.5)
Bonnie, you should send a couple of the diapers that came from the same box with the defective ones and send it, with a flash drive that contains pictures of the gel exploding or part of your video showing the mess. Even though they claim that it is harmless, it looks like it could get all over everything and the babies could put it in their mouth.. which again, would likely be harmless but just not right by any means. They should investigate their diapers. Too much pee pee is not a good excuse for goodness sakes. They should also send you a ton of free diapers. Frankly I am fairly certain that you could have a lawsuit against them for product default so they should cooperate with you to give you whatever you want from them.
Watching your family makes me miss mine so much!! My parents and brothers are coming to visit me next week for my University graduation (I live 4 hours away). I havn't seen them since Christmas time! You are so lucky to have family close by :)
