Would you do it at the end of the set? I would think dying at any time during the set would be very distracting for the band and the people around you. I guess maybe if you stood in the back of the room it might go unnoticed?
I love these cover sets, thanks for capturing! Age of consent is really such a great song, and so well sung by Doug! Sad his voice is a little drowned out on the video, but still such a nice, fun set, to be able to watch. Thanks again!
imho greatest Band who covers others from time to time. There choice of tunes Jokerman, Cortez the Killer, Cowgirl in the Sand, Train In Vain, Some things last a long time, ect. Are not only done well but with BTS talents take them to brilliant places. Cortez on Live is where my studies began and imho best
i think Husker Du took over ownership of Eight Miles High in 1983 after this show: ruclips.net/video/SrkSAnuBkQc/видео.html best live performance on youtube. fin.
something i learned in a life-changing critical thinking class is that we shouldn't rely on assumptions too much. how do we know that he didn't a) wear adult diapers to the show and b) has 4 arms and so was able to air guitar with his remaining 2 arms?
always good to see built to spill jam but the main reason i am commenting is that i just bought tickets to a show at the earl. i've never seen anything here. is there anything you can tell me about the venue?
+Dez Harris The music part of the venue is in the back, down a long hallway. Walk in the front door, and walk straight back, the ticket taker will greet you at the end of the hall.
I'm glad Dylan realized he didn't like the song after coming up with six verses. He has to be proud of putting Leviticus and Deuteronomy, Michelangelo, and this line "Half asleep near the stars with a small dog licking your face" all in one verse. He takes it for granted probably. This set could've used a little Ween, that's all it's missing.
Dug is in it for the music. That’s why I love him and BTS. Plus he’s a hottie
built to spill playing pavement- surreal
Just amazing!!!!
Wow!!! Dinosaur Jr, Pavement & The Clash covers. I love Built To Spill.
YES! This IS the best %$%#^&* band in the WORLD!!
those last 4 for covers before encore are like straight out of my shuffle, bts is just my favorite band ever
that dinosaur jr. song, chills. I saw bts and d jr. together in Houston in 2009. best show ever. thanks so much for posting this.
+dirtmerchant1980 I would die at that show of pure ecstasy

Oh my god. The cover of Don't Fear The Reaper was note perfect. Especially at the end with the coffee can guy.
awesome! thanks!
After seeing this, I will only refer to Built to Spill as that, "Boise cover band." they're pretty good, yeah.
thanks for sharing!
my reaction to seeing BTS play "Train in Vain" was EXACTLY like the guy on the back at 1:10:39
Killer! Thanks for sharing!!!
Had me from the first song!! I love DEVO and I love BTS more now for that magnificent cover!!!!
1. Thank you for this. It was amazing live and I'm glad I can revisit.
2. "Eight Miles High" is by The Byrds dude, not CSNY
Chris Rutledge oh, uh...yeah... I meant to do that. Fixed ;)

That's crazy that you held the camera the whole time
And without a bathroom break or the urge to play a little air guitar.

Love Jokerman even though Dylan didn't

Steve willow Dude what Ween song?
The Stallion pt 3 would be pretty good.
He could probably do a pretty transcendent version of Freedom of 76
Damn it, the sound quality sucks. =(
