Thanks for this brother. I was fooled for years...mainly meditation and marijuana hijacked my mind. I have been been clean and sober and praying to God for strength everyday. I don't ever want to go back. The enemy is trying to make me feel like I'm never going to totally healed but I know by faith I have been healed mentally and spiritually. Please pray for me, I sometimes don't feel healed but I don't know why. It's very frustrating to be honest. God bless your work.
Praying for you my brother! God's given you authority over the enemy (Luke 10:19). If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36). Begin to let the Word of God be more prominent in your mind than the attacks of the enemy. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6). Are you familiar with deliverance?

Transparency is soooo healing, and I appreciate them for sharing. In regards to marijuana, it can create an "illusion" of balance, heightened creativity, and even connectivity to God. However, it creates an "Angel of Light" syndrome (just like the devil). It starts off like something that's helpful, even beneficial. But by the time the truth of its impact is revealed, we've developed a dependence on a substance that should NEVER take the place of the dependence we have on God.
I enjoyed this episode and will be praying for people in this episode! I pray that the Holy Spirit brings them awareness of the desires of their flesh and how the enemy is fooling them. I fell into psychedelics loved the way it was making me feel “heal” but after everything i didn’t know who I was . But the fact is it limits our relationship to the father because it directly goes against his command for us to be clear minded. Great episode! Unfortunately, what was being described towards the end is evident in some churches in an even more subtle way. The “little god” theology- that we ourselves are a form of God. That God has to respond how we want Him to, etc. His ways and thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55: 8-9). And like was said, He has all power in His hands, and He controls my life, not the other way around. Definitely something we have to be mindful of. Ephesians 6:10-12.

Divine liturgical worship of the Orthodox Church has been using incense forever to pretty much do just that. God gave us all these senses they help us become more focused in prayer. So I don't know what you all were talking about when you said that nobody is talking about the bad side of drugs. I'm curious how you feel about essential oils? I've noticed, in my area, a lot of Christians use them and learn all about what oils can help with specific ailments. However, it seems to be a gateway into new age things for some. I know some who have started out learning about essential oils, but continued on to learning about chakras, acupuncture, and frequencies, etc.
Essential oils by themselves are not a problem. There is a such thing as being holistic and there are natural ways to help your body with things, like relaxation, diet.. etc. the problem is when you think you need to rely on those things instead of Jesus. If it’s just for health that’s different then setting up altars and new age stuff.
I second this answer. Nothing wrong with essential oils. They are natural. If you start worshipping them or using them to do things that Jesus is there to do, then it's a problem 🎈
I absolutely love essential oils and natural remedies like that. I don’t at all think it’s demonic I actually think Christians can see it as the opposite. We can see those things as almost a gift from God. Like I believe he put a lot of things in the world for us to use to help us. So as long as you’re not seeing those things as a replacement for God as food for your soul then and you know who has provided these things it should be all good. But listen if you don’t feel comfortable doing something then by all means that’s ok. Just listen to your heart at the end of the day and listen to what the Lord is telling you. God bless!!
Does anyone know more about lucid dreaming being demonic? Because lets say you lucid dream but you know your dreaming but you don’t choose to control your dreams??
Personally, I don’t think lucid dreaming are demonic. I’ve had a few times where I was sleep but aware of my surroundings and those times I was attacked by something like a shadow then I called on Jesus and the thing attacking me fled and I woke up. If you want clarity, consider praying and asking God for understanding of your dreams and even find someone you trust who is a believer and pray with them about it.
Well lucid dreaming doesn’t rlly mean you’re in control. It just means you’re aware that you’re dreaming. Like even though you’re aware of it, your subconscious is still the one in control. But trying to intervene in a dream anyway could be intervening in something God could be trying to teach you in a dream. So, no, I don’t think lucid dreaming is inherently demonic but taking it farther and turning it more into astral projection then that’s what becomes dangerous. But other than that dreaming can be a very insightful process where God is trying to help us heal and grow in our relationship with him. So pay attention to dreams and don’t try to change them! God could be trying to talk to you and help you grow spiritually :)) God bless!!

Great question. Tbh, I'm not sure whether it's demonic or not. But, I know self-control is a fruit of the Spirit. Proverbs 25:28 says "A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls". 1 Peter 5:8 says, "8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.". So I don't think it would be wise to give another person the ability to control you, albeit temporary. Hopefully that makes sense 🎈
