Hey! @whiteboardcrypto It would really be helpful if you could make a video about what gives value to the cryptocurrencies. I understand why the blockchain, DeFi, smart contracts and so on are really useful but that doesn't explain to me why people assume (for example) etherium eventually will rise to $50.000.
I have been watching a lot of your videos over the last couple of days but haven't seen it get covered yet. So the overal question is: What determines the (realistic) price of a cryptocurrency.
To give you a view of my current understanding of it so far: The swinging 'short term' price is created by supply & demand as well as the news regarding the project. And the long term price is determined by the total supply cap of a coin as well as the end vision/function of the project. (PLEASE correct me if i'm wrong!) 😄
For home appliances and real life applications you need a centralized OS. Android and iOS have been at it since the early 2010s. For instance, for a phone to come out, the OEMs (or the manufacturers) in that space collaborate with the mother companies Samsung, iOS, Google, Huawei with the next iterations of phones improving on motherboard chips, new sensors to be included in those next flagship devices. Battery life is one of the main challenges in that space. These companies choose what the sensors to include i.e barometer, gyroscope, accelerometer and other sensors. These allow interactions with between the end users and their environments. When it comes to the blockchain and its role in that space it's complicated.

I think they're two different network, though they both related to IoT.
IoTex is much more about trust people, trust data and seurity information.
Helium on the other hand, wants to create scalable, high tps networks. So they're not just targeting IoT, but also 5G, WiFi ... etc.

Can I ask you if you have attended university and if I can what are you field of study? Because I'm a freshman in electronics engineering but i also like this things, so I don't know if would be better to change to computer engineering
I'm a mechanical engineering graduate. I would say that electronic engineering is the future, and so is computer science or data engineering.
If you really want to learn how to code, and learn how to master it, it will take a lot, and I mean A LOT of dedication in order to do.
It will pay off 100% if you go in to computer engineering, but elecronic engineering is also a very good path to take as it will have a major impact on the future.
In order for IOT to work it needs to be feeless and energy efficient.
