Perfect timing; I was struggling with volume variations just as your tutorial arrived. Maliek you are the main man. Thank you again so much you made it so much easier.
Just upgraded from 18 to 21 Ultimate, and *freaked out* when I couldn't find my audio tool, LOL! Thanks so much for your tutorials! Even though this is for 20, it helped me calm down... ROFLMAO! Your channel is the *most* comprehensive guide to using Pinnacle!
Maliek you are a class act and enjoyable to watch! Thanks for the tutorial. The change to the audio controls from version 17 to 21 ultimate really threw me for a loop. Your tutorial is greatly appreciated!
Thank you for this information. I had watched another video but could not remember how it was done ... you showed how, step by step, and did not leave anything out or go too fast. Other people would do well to follow your lead. Never assume that the person watching you knew that you used a particular key or did something really fast that you were familiar with that the viewer is not so competent with ....... just been refamiliarizing myself with Pinnacle Studio 20 as my attempts to use Corel Videostudio X10 have been inconsistent results.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, did I say Thank You. I have used Version 12 for many years till I upgraded to Windows 10. I am working on a project to get me on a TV show, and I knew I could adjust volume in specific areas, but struggled with Version 24. Now I know how. Again Thank You.
I was trying to get this feature to work and couldn't figure out where they put it. It's been in the same place since Avid Studio. Thanks. This will help me get my next video out and hopefully it wont be as jumpy and more precise than it used to be. Thanks for the great tutorial and keep doing what you do.
Thank you so much. I upgrade from 16 recently and I thought I was going crazy. The Studio 20 manual I am reading said the old volume key framing button was still there on the right hand side but I couldn't find it. I like the change now that I know about it.
Finaly understood how to adjust the DB up or down 1..2..3..4DB. Been bugging me for a looong time. now fading audio tracks in out is much easier and perfect. Thanks a lot :-D
Thanks so much malik, I am a week with thecnial suuport and you helped me so fast....they should pay you a hugh salary..... VOLUME KEY FRAMING ON PINNACLE 20.5 IS NOT WHERE YOU THINK IT IS...IT IS IN THE AUDIO MIXER
You can try to do it in post using some of the audio effects but the best way to deal with wind is to use an external mic with a dead cat windscreen when shooting.
Well THANK YOU Maliek! I almost wanted to hire a P.I. called Magnum to find that volume keyframing button back! ;) Again, you did well protecting me (and others) from a nervous breakdown! So, thank you for that!
Thanks Malik for your clear and useful tips (Volume keyframing). I have just discovered your chaner and I have subscribed & liked it. However I have a question that I have not encountered solved in your video: How can I adjust the volume to a setting for several contiguous clips, not just one (green slider), and let others unafected. I do not mean a general track adjust for the whole track (master orange slider), just some clips ones next to others, at the same level in one go. I used to do thos easily with Studio 9, 10 & 12, but I) find it impossible with 20. Thanks
if I understand you correctly there is no way I am aware of to adjust the volume of two clips at once. Check out this thread from the forum for some ideas of how to handle. forums.pinnaclesys.com/forums/thread/723452.aspx
Hi, Maliek, please, how do I enable sound to a single clip, when the track is muted (with the mixer)? it´s sort of the opposite of what you illustrate on this video. Thank you, Tony.
Very useful, but what I am actually looking for on PS 22, is between clip combined video/audio transitions (or separate audio transitions) that automatically cross fade the audio, without having to mess around with key frames. This was available on earlier Studio versions, but I cannot find this on PS22.
Question: Is there a way to lock specific audio clips to specific locations on video clips? I'm always losing the location of volume clips that are timed to specific points in my video clips. Example: Pop or Donk sound that's timed to the video. I too easily lose the audio/video timing on my whole movies whenever I have to add or edit prior clips in my time line. I do kids football team videos, I add lots of fun stuff to the "game videos" for the kids, they like see the games they've played in with some special effects added, my videos are usually 40 to 1hour long... so it's difficult to find my lost timing screw ups, when I make them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. BTW Maliek, I do find all of your videos that I've watched both very informative and entertaining... thank you so much for putting all these educational videos up.
Hi,I just got a go pro, great fun,do you know how I can get rid of the fisheye in pinnacle studio ultimat20, or may be you have already done a video tutorial you can point me at.Your doing a great job keep it up, editing with you is great fun!RegardsNick
Hey Maliek, thanks for your video, I want to know how to delete crackling to the sound of my vidéo ?? I am on Pinnacle Studio ultimate 20. Thanks. Chris.
Pinnacle Studio is not a audio editor. It comes with a separate program called Izotope which can be used to clean up sound. If that program doesn't work you may want to try using a program like Audacity or Adobe Audition to clean up sound.
I've been a PS user for 3 years. I use external mics a lot and alway record in stereo. How can I adjust or mute the volume of the tracks without affecting the other. I was hoping studio 20 would address that. I PS doesn't have that capability can you recommend a product that allows you to edit one channel. Thanks for doing these video's They are really helpful to me
Nice tutorial. Just to make sure I understand correctly, the Master track volume control sets volume for the entire track. If so, should the green clip slider be set at 0? If not, where should the green slider be set? Thanks!
Do you have a basic intro tutorial for keyframes in Pinnacle 20 Ultimate? I'm having trouble finding anything. Other videos on keyframing in 20 seem to assume some prior knowledge.
Do you have any information on using the Audio Panner? (Pinnacle Studio 20 Ultimate) I've tried to do some basic keyframe adjustments to have a sound move from screen right to screen left (think in terms of a car drive-by) however there is so much lag relative to the keyframe points as to when I actually hear the sound shift, if ever, it makes the keyframe points useless. The shift from right to left does not ever match where the keyframe points are in the video. Any information about this would be very helpful.
Before this update for audio keyframing, you have to have great fine motor skills in setting keyframes on the timeline before. It was doable, but now, easy peesy lemon squeezy!
Hi ,,Man you are doing a great job. I regularly watch your videos. I like to ask you about audio fx effects in P.studio 20 . Kindly do a video so useful for all of us. Thank u in advance .
My question was this: I have several music of a different basic sound level. How to automatically position them at the same sound level. Apparently, there are no solutions except the manual solution with the keyframe
No I was not aware of that. I do not use OneDrive. When I'm looking to see if a large group might have the same issue that I am experiencing I look to the PS Forum. forums.pinnaclesys.com/forums/242/ShowForum.aspx
I have Pinnacle Studios 19 ultimate and I updated the patch and when it did that it changed the whole layout of Studio 19 I don't know how to send you a picture of what it looks like now so you can help me how to send a picture or help me with unloading the patch?
Hi dear Malik, kisses even from Israel I use many years in software and editor Films events and weddings, I wanted to ask and ask you to specify a subject very important, photography professional film most photographers use two soundtracks, one of the microphone of the camera, and the other device Sound Wireless, how do I control through the mixer to balance both Can you do a comprehensive explanation video on the subject, how to choose multi-channel sound channel I send you a video file if necessary?
I was able to overcome the problem, you can select from effects under the audio, the audio file of the film when photographed through several channels, doubling the channel same as the film strip further refining, everyone uses the sound of the camera, and both the sound of the recorder went great, can send you a screenshot what is your e-mail?
Another important question to my dear friend, how I transfer packs effects from previous versions of the software to version 20 as you saw in your clips the movie package from Version 17, 18 as: pro dad , red giant magic looks and more
This should provide you some insight into transferring from a previous version. plus.google.com/107544378440813467061/posts/K9RPqiY7zxc plus.google.com/communities/103736620166447167176
It is possible to automatically generate subtitles in the video? I say this because I am Spanish and I do not understand English perfectly. That would help me enough to understand your videos to 100%.
Maliek--thank you for creating this tutorial; as mentioned in an earlier comment I recently upgraded to PS20U and had no clue where to even find the volume keyframer. This upgraded keyframer is much much better, more accurate and easy to use. I watched this tutorial just in time to complete my most complicated-audio-challenging video to date; here's a link, enjoy: ruclips.net/video/B1HQAAcwksU/видео.html. Thanks again for all that you do... Big SMASH on the Thumbs Up!
is it possible to get your email so I can so I can write to you I have a lot of questions it's easier for me to write to you by way of email. my name is Joe
No. I only assist those who leave comments on videos, on the Pinnacle Studio Users community plus.google.com/communities/103736620166447167176 , and on the Pinnacle Studio forum forums.pinnaclesys.com/forums/242/ShowForum.aspx. So good to go back to these helpful hints and tricks of how to improve the quality of my video. A year on I still appreciate your work
Just what I needed. I did an introduction without my wireless microphone and the volume was way to low and now with your help it's fine. Thank You.
Perfect timing; I was struggling with volume variations just as your tutorial arrived. Maliek you are the main man. Thank you again so much you made it so much easier.
Dude, I tried to figure this out on my own for like 30 minutes...thanks to you...it's done! Thank you for your great tutorials. You rock!

AWESOME! Glad I was able to help.
thank you kind sir. This adds one more tool to my arsenal of travel vlogs. Stay tuned for Jettaway's top 5 beaches!

VOLUME KEY FRAMING ON PINNACLE 20.5 IS NOT WHERE YOU THINK IT IS...IT IS IN THE AUDIO MIXER
Thanks again for this useful info. I am not quite sure if this change was necessary for Pinnacle to do. I like the keyframe icon better!!!

Thanks.
You might be able to find that on the Discovery Center learn.corel.com/

Nice tutorial. Just to make sure I understand correctly, the Master track volume control sets volume for the entire track. If so, should the green clip slider be set at 0? If not, where should the green slider be set? Thanks!
It doesn't matter where the green slider is when the master track is moved.
Thank you. Also, the Panner tool only applies to an individual clip. Is there a way to set it to an entire track?
No, that is meant for individual clips only.
In Pinnacle 21, is the Panner tool still only for a clip. Or is there a way to set for entire track. Thank you.

My question was this: I have several music of a different basic sound level. How to automatically position them at the same sound level. Apparently, there are no solutions except the manual solution with the keyframe
What titling add-on did you use for your name at the 24sec marker?
Thank you, your videos are great
Some of my frames are muted during export or when I am plying it while the no key frame is set and the volume is the same as all the other frames

Key frames are your Friend🙂. Once I saw where the keyframe insert was, piece of cake. Thanks. 🤓🙂🙂 but I come for. The Avid Media Composer world 🙂🙂🙂
Are you aware that videos saved to OneDrive cannot be accessed for export? My program crashed over that until I moved the video project back to my HD.

If you are asking if this can be done using Pinnacle it can't. The program is not suited for professional audio editing.
