Dhaka Metro, officially known as Mass Rapid Transit or MRT for short, is an urban rail system under construction in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. In 2013, a strategic transport plan was formulated with the aim of reducing the increasing traffic problems and traffic congestion in the highly populated Dhaka metropolis, under which the metro rail was planned for the first time in Dhaka. The controlling body of Metrorail is Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited. According to the revised strategic transport plan made in 2016, the number of metro rail lines to be built in Dhaka was increased from 3 to 5. The 20.1 km long MRT line 6 from Uttara to Motijheel was selected for construction in the first phase. On 26 June 2016, the construction work of MRT Line-6 started with the inauguration ceremony.
Metrorail in Dhaka became partially operational with the inauguration of the Diabari to Agargaon section of MRT Line-6 on 28 December 2022 and the Metrorail was opened to public traffic from 29 December 2022.

After opening all the stations between Uttara North and Agargaon. It will probably take March. Possible timing would 7 AM to 10PM . At least that's the initial plan. It may change. They are hoping to go fully operational (till Motojheel) in December 2023. Kamalapur railway will be added as an extension. It will probably complete in 2025.

It will take March 2023 to operate all the stations in between Uttara North to Agargaon! I am not sure about the timing though! I heard it will operate 8:30 - 17:00!
