I love Food Chain Island! It's actually the game that got me to realize how great solo games can be. You are right, though, that it's prone to analysis paralysis, but I don't view that as much of an issue for a solo game, since you don't have anyone else that's waiting one you.
Yes, that's totally right. 😁 Although, I do prefer my solo games to be less analysis paralysis heavy, but Food Chain Island is an exception since I really enjoy the game. 👍
@@SirThecos The polar bear's power doesn't allow you to eat with it twice in a row. You did. So the question is, does the Shark's power override the Polar Bear's power?
I think you can only order them on the Button Shy webpage but, of course, you'll need to consider the shipping costs. I usually add games to a Kickstarter project I back.
Thanks! Yes, I am definitely planning on playing more Button Shy Games - something along these lines is already planned for this week. Thanks for the input and for the subscription! 😎
Well, you do have the unpredictability of where the cards initially are. But yes, the puzzle itself that is presented is quite similar each time. I don't play the game as often as I used to at the beginning.
I just got this as part of their last lighthouse kickstarter. Really enjoying it. Enjoying your videos!
Awesome - thank you! ☺️

Thanks for a great runthrough!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😊 I was quite lucky in this game, to be honest. 😅
This was great
I'm glad you enjoyed the playthrough! And yes, it went really well - luck definitely played a role. 😄
Only question you ate with polar bear twice at the end. Do the ocean cards override that?
The last ocean card let me eat any animal, no matter its value. This is why I was able to eat the last animal. Is that what you mean? 🤔

That is an excellent question! Hm...I'd say probably not but I don't know. Maybe someone else has asked the question in the BGG forum of the game. 👀
Cannot find these wallet games anywhere in the UK.

You doubted yourself (00:03:15). How shameful.
Well, who would've thought I'd do this well without a plan? 😅
Great job! Nice tactics near the end
Thanks! I was surprised myself how smoothly everything went at the end. Well, sometimes you just need a bit of luck I guess.
Great Job!! I really like your videos and hope you also do videos on Circle the Wagons, Skulls of Sedlec, Twin Stars and Universal Rule

Excellent video! Just got my copy in yesterday and love it
Thanks! Yeah, it's a great game, even though it's quite tough I gotta say.
This game looks interesting, but I wonder what is the replay value like? It seems like the game would feel pretty similar each time you play it?
Although I have to say I love the way the game basically tidies itself away if you manage to win 🤣

You are completely right - that is one thing I really appreciate as well. The better you play, the less you have to clean up! 😅
Excellent playthrough
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. 😁
