I'm concerned that your getting rid of that brown and white and completely replacing the breed with black, in fact 100% Angus. If you want to improve the breed and keep them pure do selective breeding

Are herds with the original brown and white phenotype in the USA or is it just the all black Maine-Anjou?

As stated in the video, there are still registered full-blood herds in both the US and Canada that conform to the original phenotype.
