KHOLKHAL SHABAKNY | Theatrical Saiidi Showcase by Advance Batch

This belly dance choreography to the song "Kholkhal Shabakny" was performed by Advance Batch, guided by our company director Debapriya Das. This piece was part of our 7th Anniversary Showcase, "Raqs-e-Mehfil."
Raqs-e-Mehfil celebrates our repertoire, which has been built over the seven years of our existence as a school. This show included an original Nrityakosh Company production, some selected choreographies from Middle Eastern folk and classical dances, and our Indian fusion belly dance compositions. Debapriya Das, director and founder of Nrityakosh, choreographed the show.
Nrityakosh is a performance house and a school for belly dancers and belly dance enthusiasts. We specialize in the Egyptian Oriental and Tribal Fusion forms of Belly Dance along with Kathak, Contemporary and Bollywood dance.
