Unknown Tools Nº 21: Spring Compressors for Car Suspensions

Video in which I teach the spring compressors for suspensions. I show how to use them and some convenient security measure, as this is a potentially dangerous tool

4 pressure pliers to work safely
The tools to move the compressors
Basically it is a threaded rod with two hooks that we will anchor in the spring
Minimum, we will use two compressors to compress a spring
Now, the spring with its shock absorber (without magic)
Caution when attaching it to the vise (do not break the Spring Compressor)
We will put the hooks in such a way as to cover the maximum of the spring
Now I'm going to put two pressure pliers, to prevent the sliding of the compressor
At the end of the video I will show how the compressors slide if you do not put the pliers
This tool is potentially dangerous (the springs are compressed to a lot of tension)
Keep your face and head as far as possible when handling this tool
Remove the upper nut and extract the spring
Look at what happens when you do not use the pressure pliers
