Bringing the classic fairytale of the same name by Ghazaros Aghayan to a new generation, this film is a colourful animation filled with beautiful songs and humour in a story of good versus evil.
King Vachagan of Ancient Armenia falls in love with Anahit, a simple country girl. However, to gain her love, he must prove himself to be greater than just a king. Meanwhile, his uncle Azar and his servant Enver are determined to take the throne for themselves with their dark magic. Along with a collection of memorable characters including bumbling magician Petros, fearless horse Andok, and loyal dog Zangi, Vachagan must go on an exciting journey to defeat evil and win the heart of Anahit.
With a traditional drawing animation style and a joyous soundtrack, Anahit is bound to entertain and delight both the young and old with this timeless tale!
