- In this video, I discuss in detail about the leakage inductance and how it affect the operation of the converter. I show how to analyze and derive a mathematical model as well as a SPICE model. Questions, comments or request for the Mathcad files and SPICE files can sent to rbola35618@aol.com
Best video ever seen on leakage inductance
educational presentation. its good of you to have tackled this aspect of a high voltage flyback converter. its exactly the material i want to know and learn.
Robert,
Heart felt thanks for taking up my current issue. Amazing how you simplify things. Can't wait for your following videos on this topic. I would also request you to show how an incorrect snubber design can make the snubber divert energy away from the load and also burn itself in the process. (You know how I keep falling into this "snubber trap" and burning the snubber resistance. I really want a permanent solution to this.)
Thanks for sending me the MathCAD and TopSpice files.
Regards,
Anand
Great explanation
Thank you so much, this was very helpful!
You are welcome. I am glad you found it usefull. Robert
Thank you so much
Can i use these equations for input 12v to out put12v 0.6a
Hello Sir , I am unable to find your video on clamp circuit ( snubber design) after your this video. Part 18 is transformer design
sir
if input voltage decreases input max current increasing .what are the steps to handle?
I did not get how you calculated the value of capacitor and resistor for the snubber
Nice presentation, but the LC resonant circuit is a series resonant circuit, not a parallel resonant circuit. Analysis is correct though.
Is there somewhere I can download the document used in the presentation?
Yes, please send email to rbola35618@aol.com and I will send you my notes and files
Hi Robert can i send you email about question in my power supply design
Sure, send to rbola35618@aol.com
I cut out after 12 minutes because I couldn't take another "OK".
Hi Robert, I sent email to you about leakage inductance for Flybuck converter. I have learned the method you showed in Flyback converter. If you are free, can you check my email?
