Sir, your videos are so informative. Please adjust the light settings. You are a diamond in the rough. I would go a hundred times if i could watch all your videos again. ❤️
Thank you, I will adjust light settings.meantime pl watch,on p.c,as screen is bigger, and once video starts, then go to settings,on bottom right, and increase to max pixels
@@captchopra8218 I'm replying from a ship sir. Now a days, most people watch on mobile phones. The pixels, i always set at max, but light is the only issue. ❤️
Very helpful video Capt. Can you shed some light regards to NAVSTAR GPS,GALILEO,GLONASS ?lets say a ship is underway making a transocean passage. Will the GNSS receivers communicate only with NAVSTAR satellites ? Are there different receivers for GALILEO,GLONASS etc? Can the receiver differentiate between these satellite systems ?
GPS satellites are not geostationary. Also if DGPS system is only used just for atmospheric error correction, why does it have to do it in real time? Error can be corrected once and for all. Wrong information provided
gps sats are geostationry. atmospheric conditions, and other errors, change every second, so has a different value, which is calculated by shore transmitting stations, and then transmitted to dgps receivers,on nearby ships
Extremely superb sir...this was helped me very much in my final project about gps
Glad it helped

you need different gps receivers, for different systems, since their satellites transmit on different frequencies
Undrstood.
Thanks for clarification sir.

@@captchopra8218 GPS satellites have temporal resolution of 12h and complete two full orbits everyday, hence these are not geostationary.
