- A reference to the previous Glitch Night videos we've done for previous Battlefield games like BF3 and BF4. Glitches, bugs, call them whatever you want they are sort of a feature of Frostbite Battlefield games. Included some other amusing and interesting things we came across. This was all discovered in one night or session in a Portal private server with default BF2042 settings except for the times we changed the global damage to test other things.

No idea if they patched the one shot to the chest issue I experienced occasionally with Update #3 or if the health indicator in the UI gets bugged sometimes and isn't accurate or doesn't show your exact health because I swear I've been one shot with an SWS at close range and it wasn't a headshot. The assumption I came to was the game might count 99.1-99.9 health values as 100% in the health bar.
Also I'm not sure if the maps are so large they have limitations on how far they can place solid terrain maps or if DICE Sweden was just lazy...

there is a glitch in the grow house with the Egypt map where you are invisible on the top shelf with the plants at the wall side. its on an objective too.

i wonder when ea will stop releasing these games in this state. i loved battlefield, i played for years, as they slowly changed BF3, i could see they were going in a direction i didnt care for, but i stuck with it, hoping it would be a phase. then bf4 released, & they doubled down with the aspects i found undesirable, after 4 it got worse & worse, to the point where to me, the battlefield series ended with BF3, or BF4 in part. i can see me walking away wasnt the wrong choice. im glad people seem to like it, or some do, but its not the same to me
I found them all reasonable till BFV, not that V had terrible base gameplay. BF1 weapon archetypes instead of attachments make sense because WW1 setting.
V doesn't make sense in that area and a lot of actual attachments are instead customizations/skins.
And I'm not joking when I say they took the most hated aspects of V and 1 and put them into this game.
It used to be a PC game. BF4 started the transition and BF1 solidified the fact it is now a console shooter. That's my main problem.
I wonder when people will understand that they try to appease both sides of the games community and that they can't meet everyone's demands. I also hope people know that you can't make these damn games overnight the more shit you ask for the more effort and work it takes to make the games you love and when you have EA breathing down your neck about deadlines that makes you goal more difficult. The game is in a terrible state yes but what game hasn't been since 2015. Give dice time and the game will eventually get better. Sorry about my rant i just get tired of seeing people upset when coding is not the easiest thing in the world when used in such a scale.
@@frostyyjayyy I prefer to point the most of blame at EA, but DICE is hardly blameless for a lot of 2042's problems. Between shit like "we're ahead of schedule" and the lack of decent vehicle controls, DICE has done plenty to earn our ire. And yes, these problems could probably be traced to individuals with higher responsibility in the company who are fucking it up for everyone else with their crap managerial decisions, but it's not our responsibility anymore as consumers to differentiate.
And theres just no pretending that 2042's launch wasn't particularly terrible. You can't just wave it away as "that's how games are these days". This is exactly why this keeps happening.

It's getting better, but on the beta I got SO TRIGGERED by that sound, I almost always looked around to see "what where'll it land" just to realize it was right over my shoulder on the Condor
it is because it is not a jet, but a pulse jet.
They all sound the same.
Most deadly gun in 2042 is the stimulus gun for the Specialist I guess.
I actually found the loadout screen glitch my self, posted on reddit and tiktok and nobody care sadly, Cool that someone found it too

I remember watching a GTA Developer stream for the NoPixel server. He mentioned water is very difficult to program in games. Basically any body of water extends way below the surface of most games. Going to assume DICE or whomever did the same thing.
Game is insane fun even with all the glitches. Would live to see them port BF1,4 and 5 maps into it.

The end screens are on the maps themselves, but there are also multiple end screens depending on how you look at it. Either way we at least know thanks to last nights stream that you can park vehicles in them. We'll have to test further to see what else can be done with them.

I got an execution glitch yesterday while playing that made me invisible to enemies, like completely. And it lasted until I redeployed

Don’t know if this is a bug but with angel you can resupply teammates inside of vehicles like tanks by tossing plate at the vehicle when you are close

I have both been killed and have gotten a kill with the Syrette healing pistol in a regular match. I don't know why it can kill but it's kind of funny.

I have noticed that when in the lobby my gpu is always around 98% but when in the game its only 40-60ish. So what the heck are they rendering behind the scenes? Are they bit coin mining when I am not in a game or something?
Battlefield V has a similar issue at the lobby or main menu. I'm not sure if it's because it has a lot to render and process or if because it's really simple stuff for it that it can render it quickly so the framerate increases which also increases how much it tries to render. At the very least my fans kick on or are loud enough that I hear them during the main menu of BFV but when I played the game they aren't noticeable. Either way a frame-cap for lobby/main menu screens should be in available for most games these days so maybe they'll eventually implement it.
Does the flying hovercraft glitch still work in 2042? The BF4 C4 glitch I mean, not the wall climbing one.

Ravic can you tell me why computer can't run this game??? I have a Lenovo legion t5 it has a i5 CPU, GTX 1660 6gb GPU,16gb Ram, 1TB Hard Drive, 256gb ssd,Intel WiFI 6nand the game can barely connect to servers.
@@yeah4750 trust me man I tried all of that I wasn't until after this patch that I could play games for like 10 minuets before I get kicked. the funny part I had to enable cross play to actually find a match.

If we had Rav & Mus1cK on the dev team we would get one heck of a badass BF title, every persistent bug/issues over the titles they know of them, It would be guaranteed the best release. But nope we have other "influences" on the youtube that are known for BF videos that got their tongues so deep and paid off 🤫
You dont seem to know much about game development. Its highly likely that the devs due know about these persistent bugs, the thing is that they probably arent considered high enough priority to fix or (and the much more likely option) these bugs are baked so deep within frostbites code that it would take a lot of resources to actually fix them.
