Izegrim and Arch Enemy both founded in 1996. Angela Gossow joined Arch Enemy in 2001 and Anita Borst Joined Izegrim in 1997, so unless the members of Izegrim have a timemachine, it is impossible to be a copy cat clone.
We admire the female-fronted approach - this girl has BALLS! It's difficult to grasp what the message is, but highly entertaining nonetheless. \m/

Fair enough. The problem is; we are always compared to AE, 99% of the time because of the fact we have a female singer. I personally don't think we sound like AE thàt much (not that polished, not that much solo's/overdubs). A vulgar copy is (imho) a bit "over-the-top".
Anyway, we can continue this discussion for ages and honestly: there are worse bands to be compared with, so thanks !! But vulgar..no :-)

This is great, the vocals remind me of Jeff Walker of Carcass.
fuck yeah. melodic with hints of thrash. getting a real strong arch enemy feel from it.
I think Arch Enemy are way better, but yeah i'm sure Izegrim are influenced mainly by Arch Enemy.

Whats wrong with a pick?? diff people have diff. styles. I've been playing bass for 23 years and prefer picks, diff. sounds require diff. things,,,,

absurdo! o Arch enemy é muito bom, mas esse som aqui não tem qse nada a v er, o timbre da vocalista pode ser parecido, mas essa linha aqui tá mais pro thrash, e o A.E é um death melódico, aposto que falou só pq a vocalista é linda e loira rsrsr e detalhe: ela toca´a Angela não.
