I really appreciate how you integrate real-world examples into all of your introductory videos. It makes the subsequent problem sets feel much more meaningful.
omg! fellow BC'er :) I spent a lot of time in Kamloops growing up & lived in clearwater & am in the S.OK now :) I knew you were a cool dude for a reason! :D Your videos are totally helping me, I'm almost at the end of my course, wish i found you at the start :)
Currently I’m working on my AS in accounting. I was diagnosed with PPPD chronic dizziness. I’m not learning 😢 just completing the class with these videos. I’m so scare when I graduate if so…. I’ll probably won’t learn because of my struggle with dizziness and brain fog. Sometimes I say … should I just quit
Betterment - makes the asset better in some way. Like remodeling a house - you're making it better. Repair is fixing a problem to get back to normal. ie Fixing a broken window. Betterment Debit the asset, Repair, Debit repair expense.
Ok - Following up - I've re-uploaded the video here: ruclips.net/video/MFfym440NdI/видео.html I'm hoping that youTube gets the subtitle language correct - I changed some settings. Really sorry for the inconvenience...I really don't know what's going on. Gotta be a bug on RUclips's end.
@@Tony-Bell thank you so much for very quick response and please let you know as I'm a fan club as you made me best understand my ERP job in accounting module! that I really appreciated for be made accounting it easy for me. (sorry if my grammar or english is not well).
Wild unrelated question, are you a kamloops blazer fam? I’m from Portland Or and am a huge Portland Winterhawks fan. I’ve visited the home arena of the blazers many times 😂
I definitely had Blazers fever in the 1990s - we had some very strong teams in that era. These days I might go to one or two games a season, so I can't call call myself a superfan - just occasionally go when I get free tickets - I've got lots of friends who never miss a game tho!
Resale price is the number that the person thinks they can get when they sell the asset. It's not calculated - just a judgement call. If you buy a $50,000 car and plan to use it for 5 years, it will clearly have some value when you get rid of it. How much? Since we don't know for sure, we give our best guess....so the $5K is the accountants best guess - not a calculated number.

Oh my gosh - PPPD sounds very difficult. Good luck in your journey.
Did you have brain trauma? Just curious
Hi Mr Bell, I am living in the US. Are there any differences between GAAP and IFRS rules in your workbook?
I don't go through these in my book - sorry!
Sir Tony, what's the difference between betterment and repair of an asset?

@@Tony-Bell thanks, it was helpful for me, too
Why cc subtitle auto-generated don't English generated? TT Portuguese is only choice to click Please kindly help me.
This is very strange...I'm working on changing it...I have no idea how this has happened.
