Have you had issues with not being able to apply 240hz in display settings while having a second monitor connected? (asus on DP 1.4 cable) But once you turn on/off the VRR or DSC setting in the OSD, it pops up as an available option for the refresh rate again. I`ve read multiple forum posts on this issue. Nice video.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I think a manufacturer's warranty represents a big part of the product itself and sets a lasting tone for brand loyalty and overall product experience. With that said, I have updated the title of my video. We as customers have a voice, and it's important to be united on that so we can make real change. MSI for example has just added firmware updates to the MAG 321UPX, which is huge. They listened to their customers: ruclips.net/video/EnitG0R5PDo/видео.htmlsi=B8nOyk8kwc2F_-T8 Likewise, after seeing some recent updates from Gamers Nexus, it sounds like ASUS is going to also implement some customer services changes.
Asus is known for their monitor calibration look at their proart with the delta e less than 1. But the delta e is less than 2. This is sad what is happening with their warrenty as they used to have the best warrenty in the industry. I would not be surprised if they contracted it to a 3rd party.
Are the colours & HDR a lot better than the Innocn 32M2V which u reviewed few mths ago? Currently I am using the Innocn and thinking of getting QD Oled
Yes. Moving to this specific QD-OLED panel is on a completely different level. With that said, the 32M2V gets pretty dang bright, and is pretty color accurate.
As much as i want this, i can get a brand new 34 OLED Odyssey OLED G8 for $800 vs this $1700. Not too much of a difference other than a few hz. Would you agree its smarter for me to get the G8 since its way cheaper and can provide damn near same results or do you think the Asus does more than just the extra hz.
If you're on windows there's an app called TwinkleTray that does that and so much more, if you're on mac there is another app but I forgot its name and I'm pretty sure it costs money.
Yes you can bind it. I have this monitor and I am in the software checking it out now. You can bind contrast, saturation, variable od, blue light filter, shadow boost, ascr, kvm, pip/pbp, ezosd, power Saving.
@@LoavesChrozp thanks! I got the aorus one and I need to constantly change brightness and other settings but the software never works. I have to close and open gigabyte software every time because it doesn’t register the inputs after PC restarts
Hi Johnny, have a question for this amazing monitor . Does the pixel Cleaning reminder shows up need to use necessary everytime? Because quite some not understanding this pixel Cleaning is how to use and i hear if use to much it will reduce monitor life spam, is it true?
I have never heard that. With this particular display, I have it set to come on every 8 hours - which the other displays of the same panel, they were set to 4 hours.
@@JohnnyMcPro So which means every 8 hours Pixel Cleaning reminder show up then need to use the Pixel Cleaning , right? Or Can it let it pass then use another time
I have a positive experience with Asus warranty, so that balances out Gamers Nexus' experience, right? I mean, with most companies these things can be hit or miss, depending on the location handling your actual warranty. Some are good, some are bad. I hope Asus can improve this across the board.
I‘m really happy with my Alieneware AW32225QF. MSI and ASUS charging insane prices for their OLEDs in Europe. The PG32UCDM is 700€ higher then the AW3225QF. And superb products are great, but poor warranty support…really sad.
what a clickbait... so you dont have experience with Asus warranty yourself, yet you made it the central point of the title just because a broken link. I am sorry, this is not a serious review.
No, it's the central point of the title due to the Gamer's Nexus video. They are the ones bringing attention to it, and it's a HUGE issue. People need to vote for the USER/BUYER and make these issues known. It's an amazing monitor, BUT is it worth it in the long-run if you have to make a warranty claim? In my case, I love it and will keep it since I was lucky to get one locally at a Micro Center and could add their warranty plan. I would not buy one if my only option was an online merchant. I would stay with the Dell/Alienware model since I have first-hand experience with them and know they honor their warranty for three years!
@@JohnnyMcPro- nah. That's a cringe response deflecting to GamersNexus. Daniel the original poster is correct 💯 Knock it off and show some professionalism or users will flag your RUclips account.

Thanks for the detailed review of this monitor! Been thinking about getting it 👌

When i play games with this monitor should i play with HDR OFF OR ON ?
IF ON WHAT PRESET DO YOU RECOMMEND?
What kind of ? is this. All games which supports this mode should be played with HDR on!!!
If the game supports HDR - enable it! This is where this display shines. HDR content looks legit, accurate and make sure you use HDR peak 1000

Yea - the USA needs to improve this area drastically. Customers literally get screwed over and most don’t seem to care!

Lol, it doesn't even have DisplayPort 2.1 like the Gigabyte Aorus does.
