Maddy Winkel Saw it yesterday and I'm so shook by them. From a point onwards it was their need to be together either in the dark or the light. But they both failed to pull the other across. I'm just hoping for a middle ground.

They are so similar in so many ways! Both Rey and Kylo/Ben Solo have light and dark in them. Both tap into it. Both have aggressive fighting styles. Look again at how they both fought the royal guards! They fought in harmony. I'm convinced that the only way we will achieve balance of the force is for these two to come together. They're in love and I suspect that love will become a union in episode 9 and be consummated. It won't be an easy road to get there though and there will be heartache along the way!
Say what you want about snokes death but that team-up with rey and Kylo was BADASS

You did wonders. I love the moment at 1:32 where all you see is Kylo's face light up red from his lightsaber and there's that beat where they both know they're going into this fight for their lives together and it's like "whatever happens, it's on us, light or dark I got you."

iridescentpath Thank you. Before I saw this vid, I didn't quite have the words to describe what I enjoyed so much about Adam/Daisy/Kylo/Rey from this ep of the trilogy. Now I do cuz this vid is so good. :-) Overall, I am glad that TLJ approached these characters a little differently than the norm, Rey not being all 'light' when the 'dark' side of the force has something she needs, and Kylo not being all 'dark' when it doesn't have all he needs. They're both nuanced in a way I appreciate and I hope that continues.
Yes, it really speaks to the whole idea of the balance that is so central to Star Wars. There is something so beautiful about the idea that the almost inexplicable unconditional love they have for each other is this saving force. They love each other as Ben and Rey, as individuals, and their affiliation to the dark or the light is only secondary to that.
How their hands touch! Rey and Kylo/Ben both were so careful and sensitive... a very sweet moment

Oh ho ho Raylo is so real it hurts. You can tell that the force both unites and seperates them. It's almoist painful to see how much they want to be together but can't be.

The "Force" isn't uniting them; Snoke was. It was a trick, remember? ;-)
Adam Stevenson but at the end of the movie you see them connect one more time and snoke is dead so the force is truly connecting them. It’s when Rey closes the millennium falcon’s door in his face.
Justine Rennekamp Exactly then the question rises: why is there still a bond? Also when you see the look they give each other it's not an angry "I'm going to kill you look" rather a disappointed and almost sad look Rey also hesitates for a second before closing the door almost taking him in one last time.

I Like the idea that Rey Kylo Ren are falling love with each other. Anakin fell to darkside because he wanted to save Padame. But she couldn't save him. Now the story can be different, Rey can save Kylo. Maybe what they fell for each other can bring Ben Solo back. I'm romantic and why not think about love as somethng that can change and save someone. I think it' s not a old fashion massage. Love can save anybody. And also, despite Rey's parents identity were revelad. i would like the idea that she could have been generated by the force as the same way that Anakin was. The balance of the force. The force bring someone bad and years later bring someone good. But now i have to wait until 2019.

I kind of wished she had joined him. Not in a "she's turning evil" sort of way or even a romantic way. I wished she would've stayed to try to be a voice of reason in his life and try to change the first order from the inside starting with their leader

It would've been awesome if she decided to join him,they make an incredibly powerful duo,they killed like 10 praetorian guards and the supreme leader in like 20 minutes,they could probably put an end to the war.
If only it ended on a cliff hanger where we don’t know if she joins him or not. Would have set up episode 9 really well. They must come together.

I love that you let the visuals and the song speak for itself. Sometimes when videos rely on the dialogue telling the story, its gets too garbled on top of the song. I love that their looks and actions really spoke louder. After seeing this movie, i'm really rooting for them to find each other and balance the force in the next part. b/c shoooooot those looks and that chemistry is too good for them to remain enemies forever

After watching this film 3 times..I have realized this scene is one of my favorite in all of Star Wars. It was so shocking,terrifying, exciting, and dark all at the same moment. Rian Johnsons buildup of snoke was amazing in this scene. The fact that he was killed by Ren..shows me Ren is on his path towards his goal. He is becoming what Anakin would have become if he was not injured on Mustafar,

This is beautiful, thank you for making it! Sadly, I feel Kylo has blown it, and Rey will not accept him as Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. I held my torch for Reylo and was thrilled that it finally seemed to be happening, but he blew it. Now it seems something else will happen for Rey. I guess we'll see.

Raquel Bargas ...yeah he did screwup towards the end with her, as most men do. But the Bond is still there, so it will be like walking on eggshells, but eventually they will meet again...somewhere in the middle.
We can hope! :) But he's gonna have to earn her trust back, and reverse some of his silliness. The future will say for sure! :)
And note, Rey changed hairstyles. There's a theory floating around that Rey kept her hair in the three buns so that her parents would recognize her when they came back. SO, when she changed her hair, that kinda felt like a big deal to me.

Oh you’re so welcome. I just can’t get over how perfect this is. And me being someone who has never been on the Rey-lo bandwagon, it really makes me want to see them flesh out a scenario where they both clearly have romantic feelings for each other but each knows the other has to die in order to achieve the goals of their respective factions. Will they ignore their feelings for the greater good, or will they “kill the past” and create a new future together? I predict a kiss in ep9 followed by the death of one (probably Kylo) by the hands of the other.
