This is the definition of "perfect" ensemble. I've heard Marilyn Horne sing this with other singers as well, and it is true, she really knows how to listen and match the other singer, but she is known to have loved singing with both Sutherland and Caballe.
O couldn't agree more; Horne can sing with anyone, that's a quality that not all singers can achieve! Besides her incredible technique, she really has a quality to paste no matter the size or the color of the partners voice! BRAVA!

I've heard Horne sing Semiramide duette's with many different soprano's. It's amazing how she can match all their voices so well. Must be all the mimicing she did back in the day?

Caballe and Horne blend better than Sutherland and Horne. The only thing missing is Caballe's does not have a trill. And the fast section is taking too slowly with Caballe rewriting some of the coloratura.

I didn't see or hear her forgetting anything, go learn a bit more about what is really happening, otherwise you will sound just stupid.
@@barbbra4981 I'm a fan of Caballé, but she's really changing the words... very dissapointing. Examples: 6:37 Instead "Fier presagio agghiaccia il cor" she sings "Ciel o o o o olba"
And again in 6:54 "Ciel, lo salvi il tuo favor" sings "Ciel lo so o o o ol ba"
In 7:11, the words dissappear and she sings "aspettar o o o o o o o o..."
The last one: 7:40, 7:54, 7:58 she says "il mio furor" Instead "vincitor"
Caballé in condizioni vocali non ottimali: la voce è sfibrata nel registro grave, è troppo pesante per eseguire in modo appropriato la scrittura, non dispone di un vero trillo. In più omette di pronunciare le parole e semplifica le agilità nelle frasi ripetute.
