You can tell that the Sinnoh dex holders were really close to each other when they split up for the first time and we see them crying. They were physically distressed without each other.
Couldn’t agree more.That was the moment i understood that these three are the best trio ever made.
a still adore the little bit where they realised the absence of the pokedex resonance function which they used as their alarm clocks as they were no longer together.
I literally almost cried when I got to that part like seriously when it came to adventures DPP, and Black,Whites were my favorites when it came to adapting those games and I love how when Platinum revealed her name to Dia and Pearl it encapsulated the bond the trio had between each other
The sinnoh trio are the very definition of "do not separate". I absolutely adore their friendship

I knew the Sinnoh crew would be at the top. I totally agree that they feel like the closest group out of all Dex holders and they're my top favorites!

It's actually upsetting that the Unova group is so low considering Black and White are a really great duo, but the tier list is still pretty accurate so nice work!
I feel like the Unova group can easily be split in two since they essentially start their stories separately and only come together in the end. That way, Black and White could rank much higher as a duo, but Blake and Whitley would drop lower.
I miss the days when dex holders from different generations would interact with each other. It's a shame that BDSP got skipped for a manga adaptation, because it would've been interesting to see Ruby meet Platina in light of the fact that the latter's family funded the project that ruined the former's childhood.

@VeeVolt like imagine a dex holders civil war. Sird could come back as the master mind tricking the dex holders into fighting each other as payback for all the times they thwarted her (so gens 1-4 mainly, since BDSP only has Pokémon from those gens). It could even tie to Legends Arceus by revealing Sird to be Volo. That sounds crazy, but I'm thinking that she/he/they could be revealed to be an ancient parasite that's been hijacking bodies for millennia. We saw that Sird was able to implant a part of her consciousness into one of the Galactic grunts. This could all be part of her plan to overthrow Arceus and claim its power for herself.

Considering the fact that the Sinnoh Pokédex Holders cried from being separated it was no surprise that they made S Tier. And I love the Kalos Pokédex Holders too.
I think my favorite moment for the sinoh trio was when they were confessing all the lies that had happened on the journey. I cried when platina came the next morning of every lie she told. It really showed how close they were and how much they cared for each other in wanting to stay together
Sinnoh trio definitely due to two major writing decisions
1. Have all three got introduced and went together early at the start of the initial chapters.
2. The manga had sufficiently enough chapters to give character focus for each of the dex holders during their time together and after they went their separate ways.
Yellow is DEFINITELY sleeping all this time. Kusaka needs to wake her up 😭
Also it's great to see Henry and Casey getting some recognition, I really want to finish the chapter alreadt but the next mini volume came out in Apirl B(

Overall, i agree with this list. The Sinnoh PokéDex Holders where really a great trio!

I... actually agree with Unova and Hoenn. While thinking that BW and Blake-Whitley are senior-junior group like Kanto-Johto, I agree they should be grouped together and the juniors kinda drop the tier list due to their dynamic (where I think they're hardly friends like other dex holders to each others. Heck, Whitley and Hugh's friendship is more ok despite their rocky start.) With Hoenn, I think they tried to make Emerald's interaction with one of the duo since RS technically have a dynamic with one another. It's nice he's with Sapph at first, then Ruby in the middle, giving him an interaction with both of them so he won't be left out when all three are present. But they hardly interact as a trio as a result.
Tbh, I wonder why Yellow has to be left out. She's pretty popular as I concern, unless the other party doesn't share the same opinion.
The unova dex holders are more like two groups that were forced together, it’s more like when the Kanto and Johto dex holders team up at the end of the Johto arc, so you could consider the sequel duo as its own separate pair compared to Black & White.
Glad you did address the fact that the Kalos holders are part of a Quintet, but I would have still taken that into consideration as this is fundamental to their story. It’s not just about the pair of them, it’s about the whole group so you should really judge the whole group.
So glad you work so hard for this finally someone who I can share the love of Pokémon Adventures with! Keep up the good work
I just found a loophole in the story of Blue/Green the girl Kanto Dex Holder
Prof Oak, initially thought that Red was the pokemon thief that is because someone stole Squirtle. After Red befriends Bulbasaur and proven that he is not the Pokemon Thief, Prof.Oak gave him the pokedex. (With that we found that Squirtle was stolen first then Prof.Oak gave the pokedex)
During the League battle, Blue/Green admited that the only reason she stole Squirtle was because she was jealous when ProfOak gave 2 trainers pokemon and pokedex (ProfOak gave the pokedex first and then she stole Squirtle, it can be found in Pokemon Adventures Chapter 39 Page 19)
Actually I think you're mistaken.
Green has never owned a pokedex until the league battle.
In chronological order:
1)Professor oak started the search for Green when she was kidnapped (this was in the flashback)
2) Prof gave his grandson charmander and the pokedex
3) Red came in slightly later and was given bulbasaur and the pokedex.
4) Green found out about the pokemon and pokedex, then stole squirtle, NOT the pokedex
5) Prof Oak gave Green the pokedex after the battle (chap 39)

I'm not talking about how Green got her pokedex.. I'm talking about the order of events
Scenario1
Green stole squirtle first, then Red got suspected of being a pokemon Thief because ProfOak thought Red was the one who stole Squirtle
(Green stole Squirtle first then Red got his Bulbasaur)
Scenario2
Green got jealous because she heard that ProfOak gave 2 boys a pokemon and pokedex, so she wanted her own and stole Squirtle
(Red got Bulbasaur first then Green stole Squirtle)
That's the loophole, that's the inconsistency in the story
@@francisgarcia2428 Red was callled pokemon thief not because Oak thought that he was the one who steal Squirtle but because he released (accidentally but still) all of Oak's pokemon, Oak never says anything specific about him stealing Squirtle in the chapter and he would check if Red had a Squirtle on him if so.

When Red entered the lab, he saw bulabasaur and was quite happy showing bulbasaur to poliwhirl.. at that exact moment Oak entered the Lab and yelled "You! You're the Pokemon Thief!" Red then get startled and knock over the pokemon freeing them.
So No, sorry. I disagree. Oak suspected Red was the pokemon thief first before the pokemons got freed.. implying that someone stole from Oak first even before Red entered the Lab.

Yes! Sinnoh Trio at the top! Those three are my favorite characters in all of PokéSpe and for good reason! Their bond is unbreakable, they are a perfect trio, and I live by the rule of "Do not separate them!"
really like this video a bit sad the unova team was put D tier but totally understandable considering how they were kind of forced together for the black 2 and white 2 arc. If it was just black and white they would definitly be a due that would rival the sinnoh tro on S tier. Anyways great video!!!
I agree with Sinnoh trio being S heck they're so close even their starters evolve at the same time, however was expecting Kalos group to be in A or S with how crazy the X and Y Journey was

We may all differ according to our preferences for Pokédex holders from different regions, but we all agree that Pokédex holders from the Sinnoh region are the best

The Gen 4 crew, yay.
Sad to say how badly Yellow has been treated, but at the same time, what can the creators do? Only two of her Pokemon got buffs while having nothing.
Sinnoh was the pinnacle of pokemon history. Happy Go Tour 2024 everybody!
For the Hoenn trio, Ruby and Sappire are practically in a love/hate relationship, and Emerald is just a third wheel. But that’s my opinion.
Of course Sinnoh Trio is at the Top. In MY Opinion, Their group AS A Group rivals even The Best Group(s) in The Main PokeAnime🥰
ALSO Sinnoh Trio does give a Journey to The West Vibe,
Diamond is Zhu Bajie🐷, Pearl is Sun Wukong🐵, AND Platinum & Her Ponyta/Rapidash are The Monk, Tang Sanzang & His Dragon Horse📜🐴
