- Sara Orlesky sits down with Teemu Selanne & Teppo Numminen to talk about being inducted into the Winnipeg Jets Hall of Fame as a pair, their first memories of coming to Manitoba, and how they look back on their time as Jets.
Teppo is one of the most underrated defenseman ever. Dude was solid.
Watched him play his last 4 seasons here in Buffalo. He was a great leader.

Teppo Numminen is still legendary here in Arizona. I'm happy to see him with his former teammate and sharing all the good fun memories for their time in Winnipeg.
Seeing them together always evokes memories of the trip to the Olympic finals in 2006. That Finnish team was unbelievable.

Great interview!! I've never met Teppo but I did meet Teemu at his book signing and he was the most classy gentleman, he and Ducky drew me into loving hockey, and specifically Jets hockey as a kid and I'm so grateful we had opportunity to have these two guys here in Winnipeg to play and now to add to Jets Hall of Fame.

Teemu got traded, the last year the Jets were in Winnipeg, to cut the team's salary before moving to Phoenix. Teemu will hold the rookie scoring record for a really long time, as the goal scoring in the league is laughable.
Was it really impossible to write Teemu's surname correctly?🥲 A and Ä are not, in fact, the same letter.
