Both Megan and Shia have a little headphone in their ear that has a translator telling them what everyone is saying and the French translator is supposed to talk as Shia or Megan talk. The translators aren't supposed to "wait their turns." Lots of tv shows do this when there is foreign guests.
It seems like all the countries dubbing TV and movies, have populations that speak horrible (or no) english. I'm swedish, and because we don't dub movies and TV, we can actually get a feel for how to pronounce the english language. I just wish we'd see more french movies, because french is an absolutely melodic language, like my native language swedish is.
