Thinking it in terms of a derivative of a solid sphere is brilliant. However, assuming one does not know the moment of inertia of a solid sphere, is there a way to just use integration to calculate this?
how do you know the volume of the sphereical shell with out deriving it?
thank you so much i appreciate you so much
How about the moment of inertia of thin spherical shell of radius about any diameter?
haha this is a sneaky way to do that, just like a physicist would do. mathematicians disliked.
great video... thnks for providing another method for deriving the moment of inertia
