Marriage is so overrated
One of the people who commented on the live chat said that every Christian woman should be like Jessica in terms of her chastity. I agree with him. Unfortunately, many of us were not fortunate enough to have her kind of spiritual background. Personally, I was born into a supposed Christian family and my parents were lay preachers in the Methodist Church. I can't say that they modelled Christ for me in a way that would have prevented me from going through the hard stuffs that I am still dealing with. Thankfully, Scripture records that there were two Marys in Jesus' life- His chaste mother and Mary Magdalene whom He cast out three demons from. In essence, God has rooms in His house for both the chaste daughters and the ones like us who were delivered from the kingdom of darkness. His great love covers all of us. There is no shame in being a Mary Magdalene!
Just an addendum. Mary Magdalene had seven demons cast out of her by the Lord.

Wonderful testimony! The thing I love about her testimony is how God kept her. I told my children and the youth at our church, God can keep you if you want to be kept. It is vital to surrender your life to the Lord. 💜🙏🏾

I would love to hear your expound on that. Defining obedience. I think for me when I read in the NT and read of those who were unable to be obedient to the commandments such as the woman at the well or the woman caught in adultery, it was their inability to be “obedient” that prepared their hearts in humility to accept their inability to obey in and of themselves and instead to surrender to the only true option of underserved Grace available through the only truly obedient one to walk the earth, Jesus Christ The Son of God.

@@quenchdabetes2367 I get what you are saying, but these two women you reference were a big part of Jesus' ministry and I think they were also a part of Jesus' preaching the good news, not necessarily a lesson in obedience. In simple terms, obedience is following God's word. Do as the Bible instructs you to do.

Do you believe that Jesus is God and died for your sins? that you're a sinner in need of a savior? in his death burial and resurrection? do you trust him to save you from your sins and gran you eternal life? then you're saved, you don't need to fix up your performance to be saved, you SHOULD, and to some degree throughout life you WILL as God sanctifies you. But if you base your salvation on obedience, then you're trusting in yourself not Christ. God's standard is perfection, and no one perfectly obeys. 1 john says that if we claim we are without sin (present tense) then we call God a liar and we're a liar.

I’m really struggling myself, and need help. But feel like I’m just not being sincere enough. I’ve prayed for him to change my heart, for him to help me be sincere, to help me fully surrender. And asked that if I was asking with any wrong motives that he would help me. But I feel super lukewarm and just struggling to even desire God.
I feel you 100%, I know exactly what you mean, I try so hard but I don’t feel genuine and sincere, I have negative thoughts all day long, I often wonder who’s thoughts are these and why do I feel like it’s me but in the Bible it says God can change peoples thoughts , I ask God often to change remove my bad thoughts but it doesn’t happen. I ask God to help me be sincere but it doesn’t happen, deep inside I feel dishonest. Even when I do something nice for someone I feel I’m doing it to gain Gods approval and not cause I’m genuinely a good person.
Hang in there, and don’t give up. Your prayers have been heard!
@@mariafitts I know what I need to do, but I struggle to do it. I think a lot of it is our flesh, because our flesh is always going to be at war with God. But I also think it’s the enemy. Maybe we both need to fast? In the Bible it says that “This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” I even struggle with fasting but maybe it will help us.

I was engaged to my ex for a year and we were together for 6yrs. He left me. And after years of praying for him to lead me, he listened to God to leave me to set me free. And God has been so faithful and good to me. My story is that of FULL ASSURANCE AND REDEMPTION! I'm not married yet, single, but content and knowing that God will come through. I was engaged with my girlfriend and we had the wedding planned in October and we would set up future plans and even had a small little house for us that my parents owned in the backyard
Everything was planned and set
And she was my life,
In July I found out she was cheating and lying to me since march
And it shattered me
After trying to fix things and her saying she still wanted to get married
She was still seeing him
So I had to end things with her
It was very hard and heartbreaking for me it’s only been a little over a month now but you just have to pray and take it one day at a time, after the break up I surrendered my life to the lord, knowing I’ve been running away from him my whole life, I realize now that he’s the only thing I have left and the beautiful thing is that he will never leave your side even when you feel alone. He is closest to the broken-hearted to the one who struggles.
I realize that he was protecting me and through this situation he grabbed my attention. I had to hit rock bottom to seek the lord and sometimes people will have to go through that in order to surrender to him, but remember that through the suffering, he will use that suffering for good.
I do not know who the lord has for me but I know he has a wife for me
He knows the desires of my heart and I have to just trust in him.
But for right now I have to let go and just seek him and focus on my relationship with him.
The lord loves us and wants the best for us, he knows our desires in our hearts, but don’t let these things distract you from him
Just seek the lord and all will fall in place. As much as I miss having a best friend it’s ok, it’s ok to be lonely because rn it’s allowing me to focus on god and I believe eventually I will meet someone else and have a future and family with but I may not be ready for that yet. Just remember god has great things for you, just trust in him and have faith. Things will get better but you have to have faith. Put your trust in the lord. Also I would look into soul ties, I’ve been reading about those and it’s been helping me because this is very excruciating for me at the moment. I felt every emotion in the beginning especially sadness but now I’m struggling with rage and anger, but I have to give it to god, I can’t allow these emotions to control me
I pray that I may forgive and move on and to let go of the emotions that take control of me no matter how frustrating it is. Trust me, I know your pain, it is very very hard but just give it to god.

Being a tall person and even a small person can make many feel insecure. Many find it hard to 'accept' their 'height'. Being 'married' is also seen as the norm also. Being 'single' is also seen as 'not acceptable' but we have to 'focus' on our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and all these things will be 'added unto you'.

I just had an identity crisis and i went to look at her channel, and i just…
I could feel this negative presence and i knew that wasn’t me anymore. Witches have a lot of power but a lot of them, myself included, turn to it from trauma. Trauma makes you more reactive, and mix that with a power not meant for your own selfish use… it’s not great. I stopped feeling safe and left and came here.
I’m not the same anymore.
It’s odd that before I was baptized, I didn’t feel uncomfortable in the presence of witches but I do now.

Everything just worked out perfectly for her. God has his favorites.
She surrendered to the Lord. Surrender is key.
Romans 2:11 says God shows no partiality aka favoritism.
Its the toss of a coin at birth. If it lands on the favorable side you'll get all these blessings from God like an eternal spouse, children, love. However if it lands on the reverse like its done with me and many many others, you'll serve as a constant reminder to the blessed ones that should feel damned lucky the coin landed in their favor.
it takes a different amount of time for everyone. Personally for me it took 14 years to be free of self hate

@@tonyeimabibo just because something shouldn't define a person doesn't mean it'll never define them. I hate being single but the few times I tried a relationship it failed each time. It lasted less than a week and yet others always end up getting long-term and marriage. Not me though. I get fucked over everytime and to be quite honest I'm sick and tired of it all. God made a mistake giving me this desire only for it to never be fulfilled. Im tired of everywhere I go im being constantly reminded of what ill never have. Fully surrendered is not a thing. We all fall short in many ways. It is arrogant to think you are fully surrendered. I used to think I was until I figured out that I was not.

Shes probably not even that tall. Probably around 5'8, 5'9. Its not that big a deal. Im 6ft and over 230 pounds. Mostly fat here and there but then I dont do much of anything. I go to work then come home and hop on my laptop to game while snacking away.

I WAS GARBAGE TO HIM.
I've been viciously maliciously brutally violently raped,
at the level of my soul,
by my so-called best friend,
who abandoned, and betrayed me,
and disposed of me like garbage...
the suffering is unbearable.
the trauma and the panic truly suffocate me.
I am horrified and haunted.
I am terrified and alone.
but, if anything, there are some things I've learned
to appreciate about myself (through all of this), like:
- my kind eyes
- my gentle ways
- my depth
- my curiosity
- my poetry
- my insights
- my honesty
- my writing
- my magic
- my sweet smile
- my intelligence
- my femininity
- my divinity
- my wisdom
- my incredible ability to truly listen and to really hear
- my softness
- the bitch in me
- the poet in me
- when I love, I give EVERYTHING
- my innocence
- my sweet gentleness
- my willingness
- my openness
- my discernment
- my unfolding
- my empathy
- my talents
- my heart
- my beautiful magical self-healing wise miraculous gorgeous body...
please, God, help me remember these following things:
- not to try to attract people,
but rather, to trust the universe...
to trust life...
that the right people
will enter my life
in the right moments...
- to set boundaries...

Trust the universe? Seems like you have a wrong idea of who the God of the Bible is. You are you repent of your sins and make Jesus Lord of your life. Seek the Lord with all your heart soul and mind and he will give you the desires of your heat accordingl to his will. The universe talk is new age and nothing to do with God. GOD will only give you a good. Christian husband when he has made sure you are ready to receive him. Ps. Stay away from social media. If you want to kill yourself over a man it is because you practically worshiped him. Worship God instead. Read his word as he will never leave you or Forsake you
Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation.
This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
Surrendering your life to Christ is a service issue, nothing to do with salvation at all.
Salvation is absolutely free and not conditional upon service to God.

was completely on board with this testimony until 18:43, which totally threw me off. Generalizing much? As a North Indian woman, born and raised in India, and having spent considerable time in Thailand and Europe before permanently returning in late 2019, I've come to realize how distorted the Western portrayal of India can be. It's both saddening and infuriating. Contrary to stereotypes, India is far from a third-world, impoverished, or unsafe country. In fact, I've often felt safer here than in parts of Europe! Surprise, surprise! The majority of women in India drive cars, wear shorts, mini-skirts, sexy dresses, and enjoy partying. It's not the bleak, dusty image painted beyond our borders.
India's cultural wealth, historical significance, and modern infrastructure rival those of Western nations. We boast extensive subway networks, well-kept roads, awe-inspiring historical landmarks, and a vibrant culinary scene. From the Himalayas' snow-capped peaks to the pristine beaches of Andaman and Nicobar, Goa's lively shores, Rajasthan's majestic deserts, and Kerala's lush greenery, India encapsulates natural beauty and diversity.
It's disheartening to witness how the West tends to exaggerate and misrepresent every minor incident, overshadowing our country's incredible richness and beauty. Unlike the US, we don't face issues like homeless people robbing stores, rampant gun sales, school shootings, or widespread drug problems. Our streets and subways aren't infested with rats like New York's either. And our education system isn't broken; Indians are among the brightest minds globally, a fact many can attest to.
There's no harm in educating yourself about other countries. So, please, step out of your bubbles, touch some grass, and learn about the realities beyond your borders.
I hear you Tiffany, it is a shame that there are stereotypes, misconceptions etc about every place in the world, some worse than others of course. And truth be told, usually very offensive to each of us when it's about our home countries. But it doesn't negate the fact that those who haven't gone and experienced differently from those places will carry real concerns/fears based on what those stereotypes have taught them. The educator is to blame in such situations and we know that many people in richer countries had mostly negative views shared or taught to them about poorer countries. This unfortunately meant that until people heard/experienced positively, whatever negative they learned first, is all they had to base their evaluation of a place and it's people. We know the opposite is true also, I thought Europe was all glitz and glamour until I came here. I'm sure Jess had a different opinion of India when she experienced it for herself and in this testimony, I believe that she was sharing honestly from what she felt and was basing her decisions on at that time in all aspects of her story. It would be sad for you to miss the good lessons in it because of the offence triggered by one detail. Sometimes this is what the enemy wants to detract value from a powerful thing that can help point many to Yeshua. Or it can also be highlighting an area in need of healing in us. I come from Africa and live in Europe and I frequently have been met with some ridiculous ignorances about Africa. It used to offend me greatly until The Holy Spirit gave me a different perspective of it and how to deal with it. Since then, I feel more powerful over such issues, they are no longer an anger trigger but a prayer point for all our ignorance so that we all learn and live differently❤

Surrendering yourself to the Lord isn’t easy, however it’s life changing. When you give yourself to God, that meant you’re willing to do sacrifices. Not everyone is willing to put up with sacrifices, thus prompting others to truly devote themselves to learning about God’s word and what they should do to receive a life of eternity.
