I am Pakistani but I must say that despite virat's poor run India as a team was winning matches,, that is what might have saved virat from being dropped. Had he been in similar situation like Babar Is, he would have been dropped as well. Whether people accept it ir not but the kind of ordinary numbers Virat had in 2020 New Zealand test series, 2021 and 2022 tests, just on the basis of performance, he did not deserve to be backed in tests but because of his superstardom, he did not get dropped.
