I hope they release more of the old Kirsten outfits but the way they did the birthday outfit instead rather than with a whole doll. We did get this one because I wanted the St Lucia outfit but I'm bummed that we had to get a whole doll to get it. I won't do it again because two Kirsten's are enough.
I am excited to see what additional outfits come out for Barbie. Hopefully from a Barbie I had when I was little. I am also excited for more Disney princess, especially Merida & Aurora!
I love that they did a collector Kirsten, but I'm not buying her because she's basically identical to the 35th anniversary doll that I already have. But I would have bought the outfit in a heartbeat if it had been available separately. I'm excited for the Barbie outfit! I'm an 80s baby, and while I never had the Day to Night Barbie, that's the era I remember the most fondly. My very first Barbies when I was little were Crystal Barbie and Angel Face Barbie.
I ended purchasing both, the Barbie outfit for my oldest daughter as she had that Barbie doll so I bought that for her, and Kirsten, as my middle daughter had the original and it has silver eye so now she can have a holiday version of her. Both 80's girls. Oh and what ever everyone is saying about Kirsten, mine is fine no defects!
I love anything to do with Kirstin. This collector doll is lovely but a little too pricy for me. I am enjoying seeing her unboxed and reviewed. I prefer the older pleasant company face for Kirstin but I am very glad they brought her back both in her meet outfit and her St Lucia outfit. If I didn’t have two Kirstin’s already I would definitely buy this one. The Barbie outfit is cute. I like the pink suit. I was hoping they would do fashions more in the times of the original classic Barbie like the recent doll release. I guess they are testing the market on different generations of Barbie lovers. I love it all but must stick to my doll budget. He he.
I love the Kirsten Holiday doll, the price point is a little high. I thought the same thing with Business Barbie, I didn’t have her, so I am not so interested. It is very cute outfit & accessories.
Eh I wouldn't buy a historical character in anything but their meet outfit, so I'm out on Kirsten or any other special release they do like this. I LOVE the Barbie Collab though, as a vintage Barbie collector, and I bought that - what can I say! I can see how people who aren't deep in old school Barbie wouldn't be into it though.
