What I learnt from this speech and historical event is that true victory is in obedience, in discipline, in patience, in adopting to change, in not reacting or over-reacting, in not being angry, in trusting the process even if we cannot see what it might lead to, and if it will ultimately lead us to our desired goal or not, and above all victory is in just blind faith and trust in Allah and His Messenger.

I agree this guy is probably a very educated and smart person but we can't simply step back from debates guessing that they won't listen to you. We really do have a shallow understanding of the book of Allah. If in fact the Quran is that deep and filled with wisdom and we are blind of its treasurers then what does that make us?
So deep and so mind blowing. The victory starts from within ourselves but doesn't mean that other things are not important as Allah said for example in the Qur'an S7.A60.. Actually by following our beloved Prophet sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam we'll know for sure how to overcome and gain victory here and in Akhirat
