I've got another question,
Does the canteen stay sort of locked on when drinking, or do you need to keep applying pressure?
I'm curious because I've seen camelbak drinking tube adapters for M-95, and if it doesn't stay attached it'd be a bit more cumbersome to use.

Good question! I do not own the adapter yet but we're planning to make a "fluid intake systems comparison video" so I will need one for sure very soon.
The canteen stays locked, meaning it opens the drinking port and pushes out the inner tube until the canteen is removed. So my guess is once you connect the drinking adapter, it will keep the valve opened hence the inner tube will remain "in your face" for the time being.

You mentioned the drinking port cover could become broken over time, is that just tab that attaches it to the mask or the whole thing?

From my experience, two scenarios can happen once the material wears off. First, the thin small tab you pull the cover by, away from the drinking port may break, leaving the port plug still functional and in its place, just without that small piece of plastic.
In the worst case scenario the tab that attaches the port to the mask breaks altogether and needs to be replaced or you can just leave it plugged and remove it in case you need to drink.

Hello there! The M95 is not commercially available for civilians so your best chances are to keep an eye on Ebay listings or join trading group such is Gas Mask Market.
