i agree so strongly with what you were saying about delivery - obv his talent has not decreased, rather his ability to futher connect with less "perfect" phrasing has increased. i also love to know an artist can be technically well-rounded & at the same time continue to evolve with the way they emote :)
I think that instead of singing like for an exam, he puts a lot of conversational words or parts in though still musically done and voice/technically good and safe, but adding a real life dimension. It is a big part of why we listen over and over, as it adds real emotion to all those beautiful and sometimes unusual tones.
