Nice job. I tried to use his style recently, too. He is a bold, self confident painter, not necessarily a good verbal communicator though. He’s likeable and creates magical creations. I like your version of his style. I think that he starts, after he draws the subject matter, with very sweeping washes which cover the whole page, before the details. His paintings seem to emerge from the washes like things coming out of a fog. You almost have to say, “wait for it...wait for it.” Thanks for sharing.

since november 2015 i started learning his style.....trust me... if you study his paintings for six months .... you will develop great skills in different aspects of his style.....

Álvaro una pregunta algunas vez has dicho me salió mal ? Y luego comenzaste de nuevo. Me gustaría ver el modelo mientras pintas para saber como interpretas lo que ves. Me encantan tus demostraciones Felicitaciones!

no soy alvaro castagnet !! Soy un artista indio ... vuelvo a pintar sus pinturas con su permiso.
únase a sus lecciones en línea para aprender de él directamente ... o si es posible, únase a su próximo taller.

This is nice. Do you sketch out door first? I find it difficult when sketching outdoors as there are so many tiny details that I struggle to not put down lol

cityscapes are as difficult as portrait....... but in cityscape you dont need perfect details but perfect perspective is all you need.........
