Great video Rhys well done on the 7k subs.... if you’re heading to the channel try and find out if there’s an area for you to launch at watchet, theres a reef a few hundred yards outside of the harbour should give you a good chance of a cod and it does produce blonde and spotted rays. All the best mate 👍
Every time you open that tackle box I think how well organised my gear is, and also how it also looks like a major health and safety risk. Thanks for the great vid
It IS a safety risk, to the poor animals that you are torturing. Cruelty to animals is a sick man's game. Can you honestly say you enjoy yanking that line when you know for a fact, that the animal on the other end is in extreme pain and suffering, and sometimes when thrown back just die from the psychological shock of the whole thing?
Another great vid, thanks for the baiting tips and that's really nice of you, too offer such a great rod on your 10k subs, which we feel it shouldn't be too long as you're putting in lot's of entertainment for us all, tight line's 🎣🐟👍👍👍
Had a go at brean beach 2 weekends ago , 2 hrs up, 1 down had nice cod and a rattling bite that i hit to early (new to salt) ,squid and bluey hook bait as they'd sold out of all worm! You can drive on to the beach (handy for launching). I fished the very end where brean down is.
The points on those hooks remind me of the "Cutter point" on the Owner hooks. Is the finish on those hook a black nickel. If so, they look like good hooks for tying pike flies. Do they do a heavier wire version similar to the "extra" version of a manta hook?
Liked the tip about using weight spikes a a baiting needle...great vid...think you should have put on the swim trunks and gone for a swim with the old ladies before fishing..lol
Hi bit late but watched your video and done my lugworm as you advised just wondering if you could help me to take up bait pumping but have no idea where to go, live in Kent where would you recommend? Love your videos Tight lines
I was down at Dungeness the same day early low water with my boy, pumped some worm and was going to try Hythe but decided on Galloways....whiting, whiting and more whiting 😬 Top vid 👍
Caught a mackerel at sandgate 2 weeks ago. I was casting my new reel, so thought I would put some feathers on. Mackerel in November/December is unheard of!!
Thanks for the video. You should try fishing the Warren - I always get decent fish there (and very few whiting!!). I thought you sorted your middle lane-driving thing out?!?!?!
Another great one mate, you should get a sponsorship from diet coke the times you have cans in your videos, that or they should supply you with a load👍 Tight lines Rhys.
I’m no swimmer but I believe water temperature is still high as the summer was good , I think the worst time to swim is April as the water temperature is low due to the winter that’s my theory . Not sue if I’m right lol
We've got a club for the nutters swimming in the sea where I live, called the pen dippers or something, I had one chatting my head off the other week, when he came back after his swim he came asking me to help him get out of his wet suit 😂 felt pretty awkward about that haha
put the head of the worm over the eye then elasticate the head above the eye of the hook. Watchet Scooby Doo 2 Goole it skippers name Steve. The heat from your hand will kill whiting use a glove or shake them off the hook over the water they stay alive.
Stop harming fish, they feel PAIN you sick freaks. Get a decent hobby, this is not a sport it is torture to a tiny animal. Tiny brains, getting a thrill out of putting hooks in animals faces and yanking them out of Their habitat. Should be banned unless it is for food and survival. Get a better hobby, you are NOT real survivalist men, you are cowards, bullying fish. Cruelty to animals is outright disgusting behavior.
I cannot believe that you started this video watching two fish die on the top of your box, while you pontificated about a strip of bait. ALL fish should be respected. You need to clean up your act and respectALL fish. Without them you would not have a good video earner. How would you like to be held under water until you die, same thing for fish.in air .No respect from me so I have unsubscribed . Think on it ? May do you good or don't you care ?

I fished at Erith this Tuesday. Caught three little whiting. Better than nothing.
The whiting love mackerel, I was using short, thin strips of them on size 4 hooks, which explains the small specimens caught.
I was one of the watchers not subscribers, no particular reason, I've now subscribed
